I.B. English: Individual Oral Timer: Example Oral, Work in Progress 2 

I created a timer to help students build and practice their IOs. I'm working on creating an example that uses the timer, and I decided to share a bit of my process. I'm using the timer to to write my bullets. Here's what that process looks like.
This video focuses on a 2-minute "work-as-a-whole" segment. During a segment like this, it's important to:
-explain how the global issue is presented in the work as a whole; give context or overall interpretation of the work, but only with reference to how this impacts the author's (thematic?) presentation of the global issue...
-discuss 1-2 large scale authorial choices (form, genre, structure, setting, tone or atmosphere, etc.) and how they impact the presentation of the global issue
-might include some conclusions related to global issue, but you might also save these for the conclusion of the oral...
