In which I talk about the lessons I learned in viewing my Harvard admissions file. My Twitter: / lukekenworthy Some background about me, if you're interested: • My Secret Double Life ... • Video
It depends on your stats and other factors. A world class applicant has a 90% chance of admission in while someone who is totally unqualified has a 0.9% chance of admission.
I have never written a comment on RU-vid before and I can say I've been using it for quite some time now. However, this deserves my admiration. Man, this is the most honest college admissions video I have ever seen (and I have seen a LOT of them). Thank you for being so vulnerable and transparent, Luke. It takes a lot of courage to speak the truth but you are certainly blessing many.
Hey Luke. I noticed that you mentioned you are participating in ROTC. I have a NROTC and AROTC scholarship, and I'm currently waitlisted at Harvard for the Class of 2024. I was wondering if I could ask you some more questions regrading ROTC and Harvard admissions. Great Video!!
I completely respect your devotion to god and I think it’s amazing that it can make so fulfilled inside, however I want you to remember that you are strong urself! You are at Harvard because of yourself don’t do urself like that!
Im glad stanford destroyed all its admissions files when it was uncovered that you can request to view your profile portfolio. No foia request can stand if the info is nonexistent. And let's admit this: there's only room for yourself to feel bad about the reasons for admitting you. The only win scenario is if you suspected they didn't admit you with honorable intentions... so confirming that wasn't a factor in deciding whether to admit or reject.
Fun fact on applying early to Stanford: it has a strict policy of deferring and deciding so if you've applied scea, and you're deferred to the regular pool.... they feel they can't waitlist you if you've waited so long for a decision. So yes applying early means you can't be waitlisted outright in the rd round.
@@natsukashiilove2470 i think it more so means that you will either be rejected or accepted in rd, but there’s not necessarily a higher chance in either happening. just that you most likely won’t be waitlisted
Yudha Tand this is insane but I found ur insta some days ago (I was scrolling through Harvard’s like on one of their posts) I’m not stalking I swear I just recognize u LMAO😭
XENON F1 ivy league rejects gang 🙋🏻♂️ seriously, LOL... i got straight rejections from 16 colleges out of 17 colleges I applied to🤦🏻♂️ so I kinda stalk all of those who got in this year cause I’m jelly🤣🤪 i’m still waiting for my last decision but I don’t expect it that much. (Being international and poor student sucks) . Anyway are you also applying for college in this round? If so did you got in?
saket naik i got rejected 🙃 but I’m okay tho’, I got accepted to Arizona State, but they expected me to pay about $60k/year LOL. So, I’ll stay and continue my education in my own country.
I tend to avoid watching these college admission reactions but for some reason was curious about yours. My niece received her college admissions results recently and was waitlisted at a couple of her top choices. I will recommend that she watch this video so put things perspective. I love the fact that you realize despite your hard work, ultimately where you end up was designed by your Creator.. What an amazing testimony. Thanks for sharing
Although this video is from one year ago, I'm really happy for you! All glory to God. In Jesus name I'll be attending Harvard College next year. Gob bless you ❤️
there is a divine plan for each one of us. In your case, God put you in Harvard for a special reason which you just need to figure out (if you havent yet).
Thank you for sharing your testimony with us! Imitation of Christ is my favorite book~♡ I hope my so has faith just like you~^^ May God richly bless you and your mission 🙏!!!
What correlation is there between those like yourself who “just barely made it in” and those who later did not get “punched” by a finals club? Who besides you and the admissions office would know what your admissions “score” was? Why did you seek out your score? I am assuming that you didn’t get punched, but if you did, then congrats! Apparently Zuckerberg never got “punched.” That may have had to do with his being a “social zero” at Harvard rather than to any other measurable criteria. Does the “impostor syndrome” apply also to “social zeros” with perfect SATs?
people take the opportunity to view their admissions files simply because they now have the opportunity to do so bc of the harvard admissions lawsuit that ruled that bc of FERPA students have the right to view their educational records. it's mainly out of curiosity and simply because you can. not for any reason in particular
