Ah! The idea of A Frail Light playing in a dark forest never crossed my mind before, but I can really see it! I always envisioned it playing for another cave/underground location, though one that was distinct from Grounds of Decay's location, maybe make this one a crystal cave and/or filled with ruins; and deep within those ruins the heroes would finally find....ah, a certain something they've been seeking... Gosh, I love how MICHI, both the individual tracks taken on their own, and the whole album taken as one big journey from the start of a tale to the end (and even the motifs, if you ask me), lends itself really well to a multitude of ways to use them and interpret them; but it's different from, say, stock music, it feels like something is there, like they were made with intent and a story in mind, if I had to place it, which was mentioned to be the case iirc. I think you can still feel that, even without that story the creator had in mind being spelled out, and it makes a real difference. It really adds something to MICHI.
