Well the difference is is that there is unjustified cancel culture, and justified cancel culture. Someone like narpy does not deserve this. And yes he said he had depression. But that shouldn't lead you to do those actions, and since we done it about 4 times with peoples knowledge and forgiving him about 4 times. Fuck him then. I'd give him a second chance. But. To everyone saying that he deserves a second chance: Are you ignoring the fact that it wasn't just Koneko? He got a second chance from Koneko after most of his other friends gave up on him (Koneko later realized that they gave up with good reason) and then he continues to sexually abuse him by making him partake in sexual conversations and tries to pressure him into sending nude photos. Then when Koneko was finally able to stand up for himself, he immediately blamed Koneko for politely telling him that he was uncomfortable. He gaslit Koneko and shifted blame to him to emotionally traumatize him and this harshly impacted Koneko's mental health. Imagine doing this to the one person who didn't give up on you. Then, he continued doing this and even continued when Koneko and his friend, Violet, QUITE LITERALLY saved his life by contacting to police when he was about to take his own life. Violet also tried to help Narpy a lot and then one day, she didn't put up with his BS, and he got mad and made Koneko unfriend her. He continued this for over a whole year and this is literally just Koneko. Imagine all the other people. A famous example would be Ben (enouement), who he literally traumatized with his manipulation and gaslighting, and now actively makes fun of with all of his yes men. Imagine traumatizing someone and then making them an inside joke between your disgusting friend group. He did this to dozens of people and they are coming out with it, after multiple second chances that they kindly gave him, he decides that they are all at fault and takes zero blame. He threatens selfharm and suicide to people if they don't do what he wants like send a sexually charged picture. He doesn't deserve any more chances after all of these kind people who stepped up for him when he was down were just used by narpy to later weaponize them against themselves, by gaslighting them. He literally uses people who help him as tools. He is unable to understand that there are people in the world with lives outside of being wrapped up in his own. He lacks the understanding that people aren't just there to help him get what he wants. He doesn't realize that other people want to be happy on their own. He destroys other people's mental health to feed his own ego. He is a sociopath and he needs help. The problem is instead of trying to fix his own problems, he decides he'll blame another person and manipulate them. We're lucky that Koneko decided that he'll step up and defend himself. The only way he can redeem himself is rebuilding himself anew, but there haven't been any signs over the past years. He doesn't deserve his so-called "friends", his following, or anyone close to him. He needs to be alone and try to earn back everything in his life, instead of acting like he's entitled to everything because of his mental health. People haven't been strict on him that makes him act like he's entitled to everything he wants. It is people like you, who are so keen on giving him a second chance, that are behind his low effort of changing.
