After much theory crafting i finally beat the Nordfels map with all mutators on Thronefall, treat this as a guide on how to beat this map. if you beat it a different way please let me know!!

That's a pretty solid set up. I tend to try Warrior mode with Horse charge. Since the Horse scales with your damage, if you take assassin from the first citadel upgrade, you can almost one shot the giants. The trade off of course is surviving those first three nights.

I not tried that one, sounds good though I will give that a go today! I did initially think Horse Charge was pretty underwhelming but the scaling makes sense!

I tried with all (except no towers & no walls) mutators as of today. That's a real challenge doing this without units.65428 score.

Yeah since the update Royal mint perk doesn’t give you an additional gold which is a shame.

@@SullyDad right, so should u still be running it or do you think maybe castle blueprints would be better as it increases ur wall strength which makes the early alot easier. or treasure hunter for the 50% extra money every morning, maybe elite warriors as the 60% training penalty is non existant as they dont respawn anyway during the night so u just end up with an 80% hp increase. just some thoughts

@@justadutchperson4732 solid points, I need to retest this to be honest and see if the current build is still viable or if other perks like the ones you mentioned are better, but I think it has to be some sort of money perk or beating it might be a challenge, also given there are new mutators, I need to see if we can squeeze anymore in.

@@SullyDad right, about the mutilators, there is one which removes walls from the game, how in gods name will u be able to beat the turtle round on the map then? (idk if they are called turtles, its the one that b-line it for the castle center), maybe if at all possible u take the castle center upgrade that automatically upgrades a house every round (i forgot the name) instead to fix the income later on, and in change u focus more on the defense early so maybe a tower early on? so same open just a bit different, castle center, and 2 houses (leaves 1 spare gold) then after the round u have 7 so upgrade the center immediately again for the money generation to start after round 2 (which will be the hardest point fo this challenge) u will be able to pour more into the defenses. ive also been thinking of running castle fort, with arcane tower and power tower, and buying a tower early on (maybe castle center, 1 house and a tower) and the tower basically clears the entire first 3 waves on its own along with your help, all you need to do is pull them into their massive range and ur good. with this u can still go the magic armor which i really like for defending structures, and in theory this should also help you out at the now dubbed turtle rounds. also if you wish to sacrifice a perk u can run ice magic, this should save you from said turtles as u slow alot more and alot longer, but that comes at the cost of a very valuable perk spot. so for my recommendations for what you should try, the aforementioned tower oriented build, i would like to see CF (castle fortifications), maybe archer skills, and elite warrior, this allows you to get an early crossbow barracks which should carry you through alot of the early rounds allowing you to pour into money generation, ive also thought about the implications of architects, this will allow you to spam alot more houses without upgrading therefor saving money on the upgrade, downside to this is that you will miss out on the upgrade entirely so unless i (or you) can think of a worth while exchange i doubt it will be valuable. lastly, what about swapping heavy armor for both melee and ranged resistances, now that we established that the gold generation from royal mint isnt viable anymore we got a spot left, and i think that the value of the resistances will be better than the extra hp with the magic armor build, as resistances scale with hp. i would love to hear what u think about my ideas and how u think you can beat the "all mutilators" challenge after the new set of them. also sorry for the massive text wall lol i got carried away a bit

to circle back to you on those ideas, i got another one, ive tried it and its pretty consistent and doesnt have any money issues early on. at wave 1 just get the castle center, no houses. after round 1 you will have exactly 7 gold to straight up get the upgrade for magic armor, after round 2 you will be able to spam houses and get the economy up. as for the perks its pretty standard its heavy armor, castle fortifications and war horse. the warhorse makes it so when you run into enemies you deal damage, this is important for when you get magic armor, as any form of damage will attract aggro from the enemy, therefor making you able to fully tank and solo the first 3 waves without any assistance let alone with the help of the castle center. i found this to be pretty reliable and strong for the old mutilator setup (the classic 7) and i think it will hold up quite well with the other ones for atleast the early rounds after getting i think 3 or 4 houses i do get some defenses. i do get a crossbow barracks at the first flying unit round and a spear barracks at the split 30 melee to turtle round (i think its like round 5 or so where u got 30 melees down below and turtles and those annoying rats on the other) these hold off against the entire turtle flank (the spears only) and the crossbowmen will help you in taking down the 30 melees however i dont think u need the archers so u might be better off putting them up above to minimize the dmg done to the wall. u should try it, it feels great. also u got a discord where we could discuss this type of stuff xD as well.... youtube comments isnt exactly ideal or anything. @@SullyDad
