I Became a Character from My Game. . . So I wanted to try something new, so I had a Marshmello style helmet made for me. The helmet resembles a character from my video game, and I thought it would be cool, but I’m not really sure. I think it works in some situations, but for something like streaming it doesn’t really work.

I don't think you need to be known as a faceless youtuber, there are plenty of people who don't show their face and aren't really told off about it. Just in the game dev world there are a few: Sam Hogan, Steven, Ben Bonk, ECT. I would be fine with or without knowing anything about you and I think I may speak for a lot of your fans.

Seeing the vision issue with the helmet I relate 😂 but the helmet looks amazing! You talked yourself out of a great idea. You could try a different type of mask that follows the red colour scheme or maybe a different facial expression.

I kinda relate to you, I suffer from anxiety disorder, and because of this I really fear showing my face in the videos, so I use an "animated" character, like Dani used to in the past. And, to be thonest with you, the mask was a very good ideia, I think!

Get a digital mask that has a mesh screen so we can't see your face but you can see out. The digital part you can change expressions by commands

Hey Cody, I recently watched a video from LavenderTown in which she created a vtuber model using some free software. All you need for the face tracking and expressions is a smartphone connected to your pc. Might be interesting for you as well!

The red part between the eyes could be made with the same material as the eye while keeping the same shape. For the mouth, maybe interchangeable pieces or a lcd that display the mouth but also the area around that would still be red. You would just have to check if the red on the lcd (or other type of screen) would kinda match the rest of the mask with good lighting condition (maybe use a screen combine with an arduino or rasberrypi and a small battery). Oh and a way to move the eyebrown a bit as you like. It would be expensive I know.

you should make it so the Pokemon isn't just a replica with 3d graphics, it would be SUPER cool if you added some features that only apply that its in 3d, I think this would be amazing and would love to see it
