Not an easy task so fair play but I dunno about the strategy to go in and tell the dressing room to play well because you're a RU-vidr and players might get noticed. It's a carrot on a stick and perhaps you thought it was a certain way you can personally add value, with little experience, so I get why you did it but that could also backfire horribly. Better to pick out things that support the team's interest as a whole and remove yourself from the picture, imo.
