damn man it cant be that fulfilling playing elden ring for minimum wage for a living. used to think that was the dream back in the day. glad i never got a small following to fuel this path in my life.
I felt I shoould leave somewhere, that my first time hardswapping in an invasion, it was a really good choice of gravitas, but I had yet to sort anything, and I dont even know why I used it twice, but as I heavy rolled away, I died and sorted my goodies. I got to thank you and steal''s videos, I still dont think Id try it without seeing how useful it can be in some invasions, like finding the rite key or tool to get past an obstacle
G if you want you, you can try the great club, at 56 strength it does 911 damage two handed and I think it has some of the highest heavy attack damage in the game and you can apply drawstrings too only downside is it's stuck with an impractical ash of war but big damage. Up to you tho figured I should share.
One cool example to argue that ashes of war need a cooldown mechanic. Not to make everyone have a worse time, no. But to make things at least more interesting than just pressing one button to win. I mean, one other way to avoid spam is to make other attacks better, like the speed buff to heavy attacks so you can mix them with light attacks or other setup ashes. But when it comes to overly flashy and high damage moves that sometimes give you hyper armor or other special properties, there's really so little you can do to balance that if it isnt an explicit cooldown imo. Otherwise you could nerf those, but I think that can make the move a little boring. So a cooldown should be longer or shorter, depending on the ash of war use case, parries being no cooldown, even. While WoD or similar staying on the longer end, maybe 10 secs or so. I think having cooldowns being short as 3 to 5 secs to being long as 10 to 15 secs would be ok.
