Yeah shredding that saber was the right call. When you're doing a magnet-strength reliant build, that thing is just deadly to you. Honestly having a ton of simple daggers is far better than one big blade with the magnets.
He seems to be doing that a lot lately. He sees the dark sword and goes, "OOOOH! That's a good one!" and then 2 battles later, "I really shouldn't have picked the dark blade. I should go shred it." Nothing against his enthusiasm, I'm just wondering if it's a theme. It's not a Blitz Dungeon Clawer episode until he takes the dark sword and immediately has ragertz.
@@djsmashbal Yeah... I had that happen to me when I tried the demo too.. I was full health then out of nowhere I was dead and had no idea why.. I understood why in run #2
@@jonathan_gariepy9765 Yeah, but both together makes it really hard not to deal massive damage to yourself. If he was going to go for the dark sword he basically can't get magnet, if he's going magnet he basically can't go dark sword, which is why he shredded the dark sword.
@@jonathan_gariepy9765 Yup, I think the big sword is better, if you pick it up by itself like you would want to do with the dark sword it does 5 less damage than the dark sword but it doesn't hurt you if picked up with other items, instead it's damage is reduced to 10.
So a little trick I learned about the game is if you get something you don't want from the gumball or plinko machines you can always back out to the main menu and then go back in and the item with be randomized. This works with the enemies, too!
First off, da*mit Blitz! You got me interested in this game and therefore got me addicted to this. I burned all of yesterday playing it. Second off, I found a really REALLY mean combo by accident and it's probably more wide known by others, but I thought it'd be cool to share here. Count Clawcula+Hoarder+Junkjets+Vampire Fangs. What happens is the Count can't block, right? But he heals 10% of the damage he deals. Generally that tends to get rounded up. So hitting with a dagger will heal him 1 since that's the closest number from 0.5. You get vampire fangs to stack on his ability meaning you get 1 health every attack you do + 10% of any damage you deal rounded up. Junkjets deals 1 damage after turn 1 for every item added into the machine, so the restocking of the machine after turns contributes to this. Hoarder makes it so you end up adding up to 10 more items on restock. You see where this is going. You can't block, so no need to try for that, you're always dealing out damage, and you're just filling up the machine so it blats everything after every turn. I got it up to having 3 junkjets, 3 hoarders, 1 vampire fang, and funny enough 2 holy shields. The holy shields are like a gimmick. You can't block with the Count (as you know) but the holy shield still works. Reducing your block from 0 to 0 for all damage reduced to 1 works. The addons you can put on this to make it even more fun is pincushion because then every time you're damaged an item is put back into the machine procting the junk jets, magnets because you're going to be doing a lot of damage regardless, spikes, poison, and berserker. Basically a lot to make up for the fact you can't block by dealing damage or buffing you every time you do take damage. But it's broken. I got up to floor 16 only because I got a few bad grabs (double misses followed by a miss and only a couple daggers. Not enough to do much.)
24:30 Unlike the regular magnet the magnet claw replaces the regular claw and will attract anything metal in the area, it wasn't and extra magnet that you have to pick up.
38:57 If this attack had played out it would have dealt 526 damage, that has to be record for most damage dealt in one grab (I don't think there are any records for this game yet so that's not that much to brag about)
weapons are weapons, the dark sword does it's damage to you for items. Like if it drops with the magnet, the heat gun, the mirror, the paper clip, the thermometer, ect. Daggers, shields, and swords aren't "items" per say.
Ugh...not upgrading the paperclip on the LAST floor but upgrading the piggy bank..when there will be no more places to spend money. So frustrating. With that build, he should have upgraded all 3 paperclips as soon as possible.
I enjoy so much this videos, but when you didn't get the magnet claw I felt uneasy 😢, that magnet claw with the other magnet would've been such a combo, probably like 10+ items in one go
it took me so long to get benny down my strat ultimately became stack up on strength items an the healing an luck staffs. then just keep the dam alive with low block while wracking up strength an sweep everything with the paper clips :,) the dam pet is super busted tho if you can get it stacked on a bunch of poison your strength just keeps ticking up every turn while maintaining the high block
Really exciting to see these getting further along to production, definitely looking forward to when we can buy our own, it's funny seeing people complaining about price, but obviously they aren't taking into account the design time, that material costs, assembly costs, shipping costs, it may be early stages but that sounds very reasonable, its supporting the creation of a new product altogether, its not a corporate thing that is using factories to make thousands of these, these are personal and the cost supports further development
thank god you didn't pick the swamp powerup. you'd be stuck with wooden shields at the surface and everything else below the water making it hard to do damage.
Blitz, why take the bath-bomb if you no use it! Like the game was giving you sooo many opportunities to add water, even the bosses added lava that could of been turned to poison via the bomb. Like think man, think....geez
