c6 zhongli may be one of the best characters because when his shield is equipped the damage that should be taken from enemies is used to heal the character instead. that makes him such a great healer and shield character!
the difference between pure f2p and welkin and/or bp is actually kind of big mainly bc bp weapons and welkin/bp will almost certainly have more 5 stars as the primos accumulate over time
When it comes to dollar value it aint. Its $20. Like just dont buy that big mac meal and youre good? (not saying you eat mcd just making a comparison with how little $20 is)
@sleepyheartss6894 a year of welkin is 60 dollars vs if you bought that many primos it'd cost over 500 dollars, though with welkin you do have to make sure to do the work everyday of logging in and also doing your dailies (which already dailies are 60 and welkin gives u 90 in addition) I think I've done the math before and for a month of playing the minimum everyday f2p has a little over 1 ten pull but having welkin already bumps it to almost 3 ten pulls. So yes welkin is a big upgrade and very worth it, especially the value of price
Bro. We spend that much on games, eating out, buying clothes.... it IS low spending when youre an adult and have a job lmao. Thats to say like 150 a month tho. We dont even know if that account spent that much in a single month.
The FtP/low spender account is a really good example of how a FtP account looks like. Depending on your luck and your time investment the damage output you can have is quite a bit higher, but like I said, that takes luck and a lot of investment. And most accounts that are that strong, are AR 59 or even 60.
@@Strashky i don’t have to define strong because I already did so in my comment. Also I only said that 'most' Accounts that are stronger than the average f2p/lowspender Account (using the ones in the video) are AR 59 or 60 because they have spend more time in the game grinding Artefacts. I don’t know how ez it really is for you to 36* the Abbys but if it’s really ez that moste likely means that you got lucky and/or pulled a lot of strong and synergizing chars and not everyone pulls for the strongest and best synergizing characters so you shouldn’t see yourself as the average player.
@@fabian5689 I mean fair enough, i pulled for Raiden, Yelan, Hu Tao, Kazuha and Zhongli. all i had to do was get a 4 pc Millelith and literally farm emblem only to be able to build every character i use. Shimenawa for Hu tao, Emblem for Raiden, Xiangling and Yelan and then strongbox trash for noblesse for Bennet/ Xingqiu and i guess some virid runs to get a decent 4 pc set for kazuha
I can relate to this, I'm a player since ver 1.0 and spending about 1.5 hours a day playing, I think time investment outweighs monetary investments when it comes to building a solid team with a decent damage output, there are lots of factors like Character availability banners/weapons, artifacts RNG, Mats, Crowns. Resin and Mora. As an Ar60 who never spent any amount of money in this game. It's safe to say that the end game is pretty easy.
Tbh I feel like something else that is very important but overlooked here, other than just the monetary aspect, is the time aspect. I myself took a break from Genshin for about half a year and I will never get the resin I could've spent on artifacts or the primos I could've used to roll for characters back and rn my characters are pretty trash because of that. I feel like it would've been useful information to know how long these players actively played on their accounts (at least for the F2P/low spenders, I suppose a whale could get some cracked C6/R5 stuff in a short amount of time).
@@morceen "Your characters are what you call trash because you're not willing to invest time into them. " My characters aren't great because I played this game for approx. a total of 8 months or 240 days, out of which I spent the first 3 months playing very casually on lower AR, leaving me with 4-5 months or 120-150 days to farm artifacts, get better weapons, save primos to get good characters (I don't even have good 4* like Sucrose and Xingqiu on my account yet) and level all of that up. Nice for you that you played for "only" 450+ days but I don't understand what that has to do with my account. That progress in Genshin is time-kept is simply a fact, you can only do so much in a day. Resin (and therefore character and weapon ascendion materials, billets and artifacts as well as Mora and EXP leylines) is limited per day, the amount of enhancement ores you can forge in a day is limited, the amount of primos you get daily is limited (apart from the ones you get from chests etc. but those aren't infinite), levelling up everything takes a huge amount of Mora and other resources etc. In the end it does matter how long you've played this game, assuming that both parties invest similarly into their accounts.
As long as you have enough dedication to build your characters, FtP account can be as good as any whales one *Edit: (As a FtP) Damage wise ? Yes , without 5*constelations or signature weapons , FtP characters may not do well as Whales ones . But in terms of being able to clear all of content in the game that is currently avaible ? Even if it may take a longer time , I would say Ftp player is on even grounds with the Whale in this situation.
im a pure f2p, never ever conmsidered spending a dime on this game. i also don't play every day and even farm as much artifacts as i should. i don't have any sort of special character that i invest on to be top tier (like saving a life for cons or weapon). considering that, my eula (c0, starsylver) already dealt 322k with only 4 and 3 star food. i finished abyss ( only 3 stars on floor 12 lmao, but the others where full star). the conclusion: u don't need to be a slave of the game to be good at it. enjoy your life, touch grass:)
Ant, I'd just like you to know that I watch all your videos yet do not play genshin, let alone any video games. In fact, I suck at them so bad. I started following you for ur aot content, and then when you switched to genshin, naturally I followed along. my friends are shocked at the amount of random genshin knowledge i know because they know i'm not a gamer lol. idk where i was going with this but basically thanks for making content, i enjoy it even though half the time idk whats going on. love ur editing and ur creativity! keep it up!
There's a huge difference between watching a game and actually playing it, so I genuinely encourage you to try some! You don't have to be amazing at them, everyone sucks at the beginning, some less, some more, but the most important thing is having fun (and learning how to play is a part of that)! If you're really struggling on your own, watching tutorial videos helps a lot, and there's always at least one for any game. Genshin is great because you get someone like Zhongli, watch a few Zy0x tutorials and you're able to conquer basically any content in the game! Zhongli will have a re-run in a few days, so if you're thinking about getting into the game - this is the perfect moment!
I always tell myself that games were created to be played! The creators wouldn't want to spend countless of money into something that's too hard, or confusing, for most people to play. All gamers have to start somewhere
Genshin can be your 1st game! Most of the genshin stiff doesnt require playing with someone. You can play it however you want and that makes it fun for me. Just ignore people who might try to backseat your gameplay. Play however you like it. 💗
Issue is that there is a big gap between a low spender and f2p. The daily primos are doubled and a bit more just by being low spender so ends up x2 primos alr
@Ally that's what I meant, cause it really makes a big difference, and not only BP but walking moon F2P(60 with comisoons) Walking moon (60+90 walking moon) that's a big diference, a huge one
fr i spent money before but i could buy the same package and get the bonus again xd i bought again. hopefully they keep resetting it. im not a whale tho i just spend money occasionally if i dont have primos anymore to get a character that i really want and like
yeah, it was a little shocking for me ngl lol but he's not a standard banner character, he's a character you can choose if you wanna roll for or not, so they obviously didn't want him
OMG Ant. Not only did i know that you were already tall, humble, charismatic, funny, entertaining, and just... good overall, that you deserve this piece, but now, i really can see... you getting rewarded for once, when as every other time you've been unlucky.😌
Here's my practical comparison between f2p and welkin only account: F2p: 34 star spiral abyss, no hard content in overworld or domains, less variety. Welkin only: 36 star spiral abyss. Every dies before easily, comfortable and lots of variety.
tbh spending money in genshin to me is just a time saver, you can get super amazing artifacts and characters as an f2p, it just takes longer 🧐 awesome vid keep up the good work
even though spending money is an easy way to just be able to power through lots of fights, spending no money just makes the game a little more fun. sometimes it can get stressful but that's the fun of it.
as an f2p... i look down on them tbh especially the ones that either have trash builds and are similair or less consitent then me or those that complain all the time about things being too easy
@@Strashkyheavy on the ones tht complain😭like bro you spent a lot of money and have great builds to 36 star abyss in like a minute ofc it's easy for you
@@gxmini.editzz9890 wut?? i spend 0 money and i beat every abyss chamber in 2 minutes. i just look down on people that spend more then me and cant even do a fraction of what i can do. actually. i look down on all spenders that wasted money on this babygame
I know everyone has different meanings of what a spender is but this is how I see it- F2P/Low Spender - never/occasionally buys welkin (5$ per month) and BP (10$) so like 20$ every new update Dolphin/Mid Spender - buys some genesis crystals from time to time for characters, outfits, weapons etc. Always buys the welkin/bp, owns at least half of the limited 5* and above. So around 50-100$ per new update Collector/Whale - owns every characters and weapon (at least C0R1) have some constellations for 5* but not all. Also has all BP namecards too. Primo refreshes for resin everyday. Definitely spends 300-500$> per update Leviathan - literally pays for Genshin's rent, electricity and employees at this point
Thanks to the whales who pay 300 dollars to get a character and 2000 dollars for a c6, you win 50/50 without having Piti and you even get double legendary rolls
A person joined my world while I was matching once and I looked at their profile later on because I noticed the high amounts of damage and that they were ar 60, and each of the slots on their profile were filled with 5 star, r5, and c6 characters, and I don't think there were any standard characters on their profile
5:03 I just want to know what inside the mind of this player to give Jean 'Dull Blade'. I mean I know someone who level up their Dull Blade just for the meme and give it to their traveler lol
Jean wasn't in the team, maybe they needed the weapon they usually give her for another character. For how Antony reacted he didn't take the time to check the characters before bringing them in the abyss.
@@biazacha Well, he tried to build Kokomi as a dps, diluc with full def% for tanking (while he has c1 zhongli) and mains electro traveler. I swear its these people that also have the best luck, he pulled thundering pulse and vortex vanquisher on their banners in under 8 pulls and got c1 zhongli and jean in a single 10 pull
This video made me realize how unlucky I am in Genshin, spent quite a lot while not going for any constellations but I'm still missing plenty of 5 stars why 😃
Depends on how you spent it. I've been paying for the $5 monthly thing since the beginning, so I'll be at $120 spent for 72k primogems when we get to the 2nd anniversary. Buying straight up that same money would only get you like 15k primos.
I’ve spent a lot of money (roughly 300 bucks) and have been insanely lucky. (Pulling 2 5 stars in a single ten pull twice.) My luck has gone in the wishing system and nothing in artifacts ;w;
Honestly my Itto hits fairly close to that C6 Itto’s numbers at C0, Redhorn with no refinements, and triple crowned. Constellations are nice and unlock new features on characters, but with enough investment any character can hit like a truck. Obviously you’ll clear things easily with maxed out character and subpar artifacts but I find it much more satisfying to see the work of farming for a character pay off when it was your passion to improve their build allowing them to hit crazy numbers, not the fact that they’re at a higher constellation level.
Honestly any acc (f2p or not) is able to 36 star abyss depending on the enemies there. I am a f2p and I 36 starred abyss before but only once since the enemies weren’t that hard for my characters to kill :D
@@chaeripie888 haha it’s simple, just invest into your dps like triple crowning them and also I don’t use supports so I try to get most of my dmg from all characters and not just one. You also need to hope for the abyss monsters to not have resistance to your dps :v
"it is- literally just kazuha" yes. as a kazuha main, yes. considering the low ish cd on that kazuha, id be terrified of him with 200 cd. my kazuha with his dps gear hits scarily high enough numbers at c2 mist (and iffy artifacts, but 2.2k atk 57-216 so its not horrible but id like more cr.) id be terrified of that kind of ratio at c6.. also in agreement that, it does not matter. i have 2 f2p alt accounts and both can 36 star abyss. my main account where i do spend also can. with enough investment, you can do anything if you put your mind to it.
legit tearing up at c6 kazuha, one day i'll get there too i swear 😭😭 first character i've ever pulled for, saved up for his rerun and managed c2, he will always be my priority, one day in the far future i'll see the c6 too
I was on the whale side of things my first year. (Collecting al 5*, getting three at C6). Funny side effect is now I have no reason to pull on anything. I can complete all content, I have a variety of teams to build, and now I'm spending nothing. Started a FTP account to see how it felt, and actually enjoyed the game more since I have to think about resource management, team comp, combat is harder. I don't necessarily regret the money I spent because I could afford it, but if I could go back in time I'd probably just be a Welkin player.
Me, as a full f2p player, managed to get 36 stars in the Abyss after playing one month later the release of this game. If u want to have a look at my account just tell me, i'm one of the luckiest f2p ever 😂
My ftp friend is missing only 4ish characters, one is Kokomi which she is getting in 3.0, this girl can farm 5k primos in like 8 hours lol, a ftp can be just as good as a whale, just it takes more effort
honestly i think the fun of the game is grinding on those builds even though you only have four 5 star characters. any character in this game has the potential too be good if you put the effort into building them (except amber)
seeing that big kazuha dmg around 14:00 made me feel somethin like yk yk I love it when I see a DPS kazuha because in my opinion Kazuha is best in game. Like i’m working on triple crowning him, c6 him when i get the opportunity, and have him a DPS build.
My rule for spending on f2p games is I can spend the cost of a switch game per year. Genshin is comparable to BotW which was 60USD, so for each year I play I am allowed to spend MAX 60USD.
I spent about 3-4k and don't have as many c6 units as the whale in video by far. Therefore $2000+ is set a little bit low, more likely $8000+. Did the whale himself claim that he spent about 2k? I highly doubt that.
ikr, I love yoimiya but sadly I don’t have any primos cause I just joined Genshin, rip, I hope her and Klee get a re-re-run again. Might trade an account for them in the future
idk what chat’s talking about with the 2nd account being a whale. it’s not close to a whale at all, like... their expenses probably are micro (bp + welkin), and buying gc is rare
Being f2p mostly just means you struggle more to 36* (especially if you don’t build your characters) and have less characters to play. Tbh with enough time and just doing daily comms + events + resin you’d be able to have decently built characters and can clear all the content
I think the difference is that as an f2p you just progress more slowly when it comes to characters. By now everyone should know that 36ing abyss is pretty doable with most if not all characters. Just the non f2p players can get their hands on characters that require less equipment to do it or can gear out multiple characters at once (multiple damage characters is the current meta, so teams benefit a lot from multiple geared characters). That's my pov on that topic.
I’m a mid spender and the low spender has more 5 stars and characters than me, I have 3 5 stars, and I’m also stuck on chamber 5 floor 1 on the chasm, and I’ve been playing for almost 2 years, it’ll be 2 in April 😭
I spend no money but yet I get a lots of 5 stars I got wander In 3 pity and 2 raider the first one at 21 and another 1 Other than that I also have raided signature weapon the EL
Welkin alone almost doubles your collection of primos. And battle pass gives you a ton of resources in mora, talents, exp, etc. I’ve been doing just these two since I started some months ago and i only realized now what a difference it makes. I think the main diff is I can have more characters and build them faster- but not necessarily stronger characters.
I thought I was a whale, but after watching this video I feel so much better. I don't get weapons really, I only got for the characters and once I get them I stop pulling.
i'm what ant would call a low-spender but i have the absolute worst luck when it comes to artifacts and i am also missing many (somewhat essential) characters. i put so much time and effort into this account and you have no idea how shitty it is to farm artifacts for months and months but at most get a 'decend' build. i am just suffering...
8:26 "I concider whale to be C6R5" meanwhile other gacha games Dolphin: spends money like once a year Whale: buys every character they like Leviathan: Has every character bro genshin is like the most expensive gacha to get max copies of a character what universe does it need to be at that point to be called a whale
1:17 -ish mark. "If you find enjoyment in it, and you wanna spend money on it, go for it. If you don't wanna spend money, if you don't have the funds, nothing wrong with that". I get his point.... but honestly, that should be more along the lines of: If you enjoy the game without spending money, that's fine. If you want to spend money on the game...nothing wrong with that. Spending money on the game should be the more frowned upon action..... even though it honestly shouldn't even be frowned upon really. But if you had to choose which one to say the condescending phrase: "Nothing wrong with that"... it's definitely spending money.
