People affected by walking corpse syndrome hold the strong belief that they are dead and therefore do not need the necessities like food and water, leading to death. Walking corpse syndrome is a thing. It means that you believe you are dead, dying, or non existing. It is very rare and there are only a couple hundred known cases in the world
