I Became Bob the Builder in Hell Let Loose (ft. F.A.S.T. Squad) 

Engineer is super important but overlooked because its not very glamorous. Me and a couple other engi's as well as some support guys, plus help from command, were able to completely barricade the center of town at a church (forget which map; it was our last defense point). We barricaded every single point of entry into the town square as well as built more cover closer in towards the church. Spent probably half the match building defenses and then defended that town square for the last 30 minutes or so. Most of the match was slow and some would consider boring (just building stuff forever, little combat) but it lead to one of the most epic wins ive ever had on this game. The enemy was steam rolling us but we built up so hard at the end they just couldnt push in. Me and some dudes completely turned the tide of the battle. It was nice to see all that work actually do something. One of the best matches ive ever had in this game hands down.

Love that you’re getting into the game. One of the most important things a lot of HLL players don’t understand is that your team can have up to 8 active garrisons. Especially defensive garrisons that allow you to spawn back in defensive are SUPER important. Unfortunately hardly anyone tends to care for them, hence a lot of rounds fall short

There are 3 types of nodes: Manpower, Fuel and Munitions. Each of them increases the given resource by 10/min, each engineer can place 1 of each, each team can have 3 sets of 3. The commander uses those resources to purchase things like recon planes, point reinforcements, airheads, vehicles, supply drops, etc. Vicinity doesn't matter, just best to place them somewhere they'll be hard for the enemy to find and destroy. Many times you'll find them near the 2nd line because supply trucks can't drop supplies behind that line (too close to the main bases), and engi's will take supply trucks, drop supplies just past that line and then build nodes behind the line so they won't be destroyed if the forward section gets captured, but nodes can technically be built anywhere in friendly territory as long as you have the supplies.

Once barricades and bunkers are built, you can upgrade them with sandbags. Doing so makes them resistant to bombing runs and tank rounds.

Also Stone, walls and bunkers can be upgraded. you can literally build a fully enclosed bunker with enough supplies. Being an effective engi requires a good squad lead to help com with command to get supplies to the right areas, as well as good support players when command falls through. Oh and dont forget to Commend other players at the end. especially low level guys. helps 'em level faster. Would love to jump in some games with you and show you the ropes. have a few hundred hours in myself though still learning. Aculite just cant handle the harshness lol.

Hell What Loose is what happens when gamers realize that stupid is a stupid does in war. Game absolutely punishes people for not using fire, maneuver and communicate tactics. It’s brutal and you get punished for making dumb fucking decisions. Shows you how quickly you can get your men or yourself shredded.

In offensive mode, the defending team needs a dedicated squad of engi's to build up/fortify the 2nd to last or middle point. If you dont got it you will lose 9 times out of 10. Engineers are paramount in offensive.

2:31 I miss BF4's Battlelog. I liked being able to manage loadouts & browse for matches without having to start up the game and browse through the menus.

that bug with the weapon not shooting is so annoying, got me killed so many times, only happens with bolt action weapons

Im 14min into the video and maybe you'll figure it out, but you can upgrade all this stuff. wood bunker turns into concrete pill box bunker eventually.

HLL is THE perfect game for your YOLO content, once you get good at the game, but you are many hundreds of hours away from that yet (minimum 300-400 hrs). Love your channel, and love the guys you work with Tomo & Aculite etc., but you need schooling in the game by another HLL veteran. Tomo and the boys aren’t there yet. I love that your audience is on this journey with you but please understand that you have a long way yet to go. Wait till you get tanking in a squad with guys who know how properly. I suggest watching Fresh Baked Goods channel for tanking gameplay done right. Monoespecial is another good channel. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

You can ask other players to heal you

If no one told you, once you get all three of your nodes down in the beginning of the match, you can switch to another class and all the XP you get from your nodes will go to the class you play with for the rest of the round.
