This is a crazy video I totally love how we all are watching this video knowing you aren't the best player, but you put so much efforts in becoming better, in content but also at the game, and managed such an achievement, and the content out of that is so dynamic and interesting to watch, it highly changes from simple videos we usually see and that makes such a difference Well done Reiss for everything, soon 200k and you highly deserve it !
i know i'm finna get flamed for this but this map is SO much better than the OG map we're playing on now. Just the movement on this map and how you can actually reach all the areas on foot just makes the game feel so much more fun to me. Also, a bunch of the weapons are more balanced in the non-OG version.
The og map is simpler and it’s nostalgic. There aren’t too many game mechanics to understand and it worked great back then. But now, the average player has gotten significantly better. And because of it, the og map no longer caters to the pace that Most players need. Back then you didn’t need much because it was more of a camp and win type of playstyle. Now that everyone wants to fight and practice w keying, a bigger map with more rotation and loot creates more intense gameplay. Mid games aren’t completely empty but endgames do suffer. Unless it’s a tournament bc more people are playing to win.
Reiss, from your gameplay i can tell that your mechs and control of the cross hair was very shaky. I think you're missing a few fundamental mental ideas to correctly control your character. 1- when you edit, you tend to hold it for a tiny bit before confirming. There should be no delay unless you want to see or you're boxfighting. 2- your sens was a bit high and whenever you move it looks so choppy. Learn to constantly be moving your mouse around at all times controllably, or/and lower your sens. 3- when you are aiming/flicking, learn to click even before you think you hit the target. You can flick very fast with a mouse, unlike a controller where you need trigger discipline. There are a few other things, but i don't want to make the comment long. I hate the idea just cuz you're older, you can't be a tier 1 pro. You can 100% get to a point where your mechs aren't significantly behind tier 1 pros and can barely keep up with them, WITHOUT too much practice. Then it's just up to your gamesense and confidence. You have a significantly greater advantage in playing mind games, IGLing and predicting everyone because you're older and have more wisdom.
I suggest you make a reference to certain scottish demolition man if you're gonna brag about being the best scottish player like "What makes a good Scottish player? If i was a bad Scottish player, I WOULDN'T BE SITTING HERE SITTING HERE DISCUSSING WITH NOW WOULD I?!"
