You should totally read the book! It gives some more insight as to what they’re thinking. For that scene at the party when Connell leaves Marianne (when she’s drunk and they kiss) I believe he thought it would be like taking advantage of her because she wasn’t in a fully conscious state of mind. Connell did the right thing

Anyway, I've been binge-watching your videos, saw all reactions to Brazilian films (I laughed so hard watching you watch A Dog's Will!) and now I'm dying with you watching Normal People - laughing, crying, being pissed at Connell and loving Karen! P.S.: There's a new movie by Walter Salles, the same director from Central Station, that will star Montenegro again, it's their newest collaboration in 25 years since the former film was made. It will premiere at the Venice Film Festival and it will be in competition! The title is I'M STILL HERE and also stars Selton Mello, who played Chicó in A Dog's Will, he's one of our finest working artists. I'll recommend you two more Brazilian films: To The Left of the Father (Lavoura Arcaica), directed by Luiz Fernando Carvalho (also starring Selton Mello) and Behind the Sun (Abril Despedaçado), another one directed by Walter Salles. All Brazilian classics. Please, watch them, you'll not regret it.❤
I’m sorry but I’ve never understood the Paul Mescal hype. He’s a great actor but he just doesn’t do it for me looks wise lol and I feel like he looks so much older than he is 😅
