Hanging on tight to the money he never had before comes from the lack of having it. Hopefully as he matures in the US environment he will learn to easily also _tip_ (let money go out of his had for services others have rendered to him) as he kept alluding to. If you drive for Uber or Lyft, you are self-employed. If you deliver food for GrubHub, Postmates, DoorDash, or UberEATS, you are self-employed. You are considred an independent contractor by the tax system. An understanding of the tax system is also key in the US. Single folks pay the most taxes.

The easy way to make it in every country is to get work authorization ie work permit. He's had it easy just because he came in with a green card. That can never be the case of some1 coming in with B1/B2. I'll advice him to enroll in a trade school or community college to get a trade skill. Electrician, plumbing, welding with this skills u'll be better off in just 5 years. As he said, the majority of people earning over 100k a year in the US are the IT and tradesmen.
Wow wow wow, bravo!! Very intelligent about how women operates. May the Lord protect his mindset from any evil people out there. Intelligent ghanaian man.
Uk police will never spare your stubbornness. I think American police are good to foreign blacks than their own blacks. This is not the first time I have heard something good about American police.
Oh yea. That's a fact. I work in a hospital and close 12:00 am. I have been stopped by police many times but they're always gentle with me. What the police here don't like is constantly asking questions aggressively. Try to be nice to them. That's what the African Americans don't do bcos of past experiences.
Getting the privilege doesn't means you get all the sense,do you know how guys are struggling to survive in this country. Always thank God that you were able to meet your helper early and stop what you saying chairman
Yes. America is hard but your hardwork will pay off. Ghana, no matter how hard you work, the future is still not clear because the system suppresses your effort.
