Thanks for the video to CDG. I try to visit Paris whenever I can but doing so vicariously this weekend works! As soon as you mentioned smog obstructing your view of Paris on arrival, my heart sank. The smog problem has gotten so bad and it’s a major disappointment. Still, I hope you enjoy your time there (even with all the prep for the Olympics going on). 👍

You’re correct, I’m feeling that the “hustle and bustle” of playing the upgrade “game” is NO longer worth it and booking a Main cabin window seat towards the rear especially on wide bodies is the safe way to enjoy your journey.

I also almost always pick a window seat at the very back of the main cabin because they have the best views. (I've also found that I'm more likely to get a row to myself this way.) The only time I consider upgrading is for a flight where I expect to sleep most of the time (e.g. red-eye) or if I need to make a tight connection.

Thanks for another great video! Curious . . . How was the food on this fight? I recently flew nonstop premium economy, first time flying premium economy, from CLT to Madrid. While the seat was more roomy than economy, and we had a wonderful flight crew, one of the best, the food was inedible. A friend of mine, at the same time, flew a competing US carrier nonstop from SFO to CDG. She said the food was inedible. You would expect edible food in all classes,and upgraded food in premium cabins. If not, why pay for an upgrade. Have you flown Delta’s Premium Select? If so, what were your thoughts.? Thank you!

I am flying French bee out Newark July 27th for Paris Summer Games which side would you plane would you recommend thanks in advance?

The only difference between their 300 and their 900s is the business class and overhead bins, other than that it’s virtually the same in my opinion at least.

I`d have been well disappointed at not flying the Neo if thats what I`d booked, but at the end of the day the Ceo`s are great to fly in so I guess no harm done.

Fun fact: As of this month Delta has more A330s than 767s in their fleet.
