We very much enjoyed our trips with MSC. Beautiful ships, kind staff, good food and entertainment, and the price cant be beat. Youre absolutely right that people with the tighest purse strings tend to complain about the dumbest stuff. 4 days of not cooking or cleaning? Worth it.

$198 as a solo traveler for 4 nights... the value of the food, entertainment, and travel answers that question. I had a similar first MSC experience on the Seascape... great service from the staff, nice looking ship, and the food was good. Absolutely love Ocean Cay... Bimini beach is beautiful and a great place to snorkel. I initially booked an inside guarantee and was upgraded to a balcony a week before leaving. I am looking forward to the inaugural on the America!

My girlfriend and I went on MSC fantasia for a weeklong cruise in the Mediterranean for just $400pp. It was fantastic and we had so much fun. They upgraded us to a balcony and the service was truly fantastic.

Thank you for your review as I enjoyed your video. I was considering cruising with MSC but I wasn't sure. Definitely a budget-friendly cruise line. I appreciate the details of your experience and the fact that you got upgraded to a balcony cabin was amazing! I'm sorry that you had that scary experience at 5:00 a.m. I don't think I would feel safe if I were ever to travel solo to stay in that same cabin, but that's just me. It's too bad that they didn't follow up with the investigation. I'm glad though that you had a great experience other than that. Thanks again for your content.

Thank you so much! I would definitely recommend it and I know several others were upgraded for free on MSC as well. I believe they may do that to free up interior rooms so they can sell more cheap cruises, but that could be wrong. You can book rooms without adjoining doors like the one that man walked through, either way I’m pretty sure it was locked and he had a master key. I’m just glad my wife wasn’t with me when that happened.

This looks incredible! I sailed on the msc Divina a while back and had a very similar experience - rock bottom prices and excellent experience, also got upgraded from an interior to a deluxe balcony with no charge. Msc is amazing. I am so excited to try this ship! Looks incredible. I do have to say decorating my cabin for a 4 night cruise sounds insane, I barely even can force myself to pack my bags to go home after an 11 night cruise 😂 you must have a lot of discipline! Everything just looked incredible, can’t believe the price. Just take my money msc!!!!!!!!!!! I am sailing on the magnifica next month for a similar price for a similar itinerary and am so excited! Need to book the seascape and seashore next. Msc has the best deals hands down. Someone walking into your room does sound really weird, but I guess that is a rare thing that could happen whenever. Ocean Cay looks so nice in the winter - I’ve been only in September when it’s HOT! 🥵🔥☀️ Living vicariously through you my friend! When is your next msc cruise? I’m guessing like me you are hooked now 🚢 for the price for solos, no other line in America even comes close!

We are on Virgin again next month, then Royal Caribbean in July. The year before I decorated my bedroom on Amtrak for one night and even brought a tiny Christmas tree! 😆 It’s fun and something different to do when I make these videos. We definitely got lucky with the weather at Ocean Cay, it was a perfect day and I can’t wait to go back there. Happy cruising! 🚢

I just came back from a MSC cruise from Port Canaveral, it was VERY GOOD! The MSC Seashore is a party ship and it has that vibe that many of the other cruise-lines do not.

Great, honest, video. I went on MSC Seascape a year ago, and the WiFi was awesome. I had the Wi-Fi that came with the drink package deal, and I was able to video chat the whole cruise.

We cruised last week on MSC Magnifica. No complaints. We enjoyed our 4-day cruise. We disembarked at 7:30 A.M. with our luggage. I agree with washing your hands frequently. The staff does a good job keeping the ship clean.

@@HDjeff True! If I ever do a salad bar or buffet and don’t want to look too crazy 🤪 I just grab a napkin nearby and use it to grab the scoopers so my hands don’t touch the scoopers directly. Always have those Lysol wipes too! Cheers!

We just got off the seashore this past Sunday. It was our very first cruise and we had a blast! The crew, the shows and the service were amazing. And we really enjoyed the app to be able to book shows, create your own daily agenda, map of the ship and see what activities were going on. We also met the Captain out a few times , we think he’s a bit of a partier! Lol. Super nice and was willing to take pics with you. Yes the elevators can be slow at times but we found the glass elevators at the back of the boat were our little secret to getting to any deck 8 and above and since we spent most of our pool time at the adult pool they end directly there which was awesome. Can’t say enough, we loved it, our balcony cabin was wonderful and our cabin attendant MUFLI was incredible. Cruise MSC you won’t go wrong!

Loved how you kept a drinks tally hahahhaa. Did the package work out as the econimical for you? We've cruised with MSC twice and have been delighted with the price,food,drinks,and entertainment. We were lucky enough to have two days there as the ship was docked overnight. Such a relaxing place to just sit at a beach-side bar and enjoy the views.

😂 had to see if it was worth it! It was about a wash, the drinks were all $10 but I had a lot of bottled water too. Would’ve been better if I bought it in advance, but the next MSC cruise I booked has the same drinks package included in the price. I didn’t know they did overnights at Ocean Cay, that must have been amazing!

Hey great find this vlog!!! And totally agree in some complain about anything to complain and then expect something free in return....🙄🙄 And you better believe that if I lived closer to a pier, I would definitely take advantage of those prices!!! Never sailed MSC and would have no hesitation in doing so. Thanks for the vlog, keep it up!!!

Gr8 review! I just disembarked , in Miami, from the MSC Magnifica . 4 night cruise to Ocean Cay & Nassau. Food was just ok . Steaks tasted real cheap. Awful Steak Diane . But , loved the fried eggs in the mornings. Plus always super fresh rolls & butter. Lasagna was good . I loved the shows every night , including the hilarious comedian, Dave Konig !

Thank you so much, you are very kind! 🙏 From what I’ve found, a single cruise is typically the same price as sharing a room but without the extra taxes/gratuities for the 2nd person. There are occasionally some deals for singles but for $198 plus all the extras I thought it was amazing, and my wife had prior commitments so she encouraged me to do it solo. Happy travels! ✌️

Great review. I cruised with MSC last summer and I was really pleased with nearly everything. I wasn’t a big fan of the buffet. However, there is so much variety, there’s nothing to complain about. It’s crazy to spend $300 or $400 dollars and expect ice sculptures and lobster. In a world where you can be anything…. Be kind.

I enjoyed the video. This video was the most informative on the actual cost of cruising on MSC if we decided to go barebones plus the drink package (I like to drink 😊). Can you find out the sailing occupancy of cruise ship days or weeks prior to sailing on the MSC to gage the probability of an upgrade, free or pay?

Thank you! I would check in MSC Facebook groups to see how full the ships are shortly before your sailing, I’m not sure if there is another way to check unless you know someone that works for them. They did offer many bid-up options that were reasonable, but I know a lot of other people on the ship were upgraded for free as well.

@@HDjeff Well, I was on top of a 3 man bunk and everything I owned was right under me. Food was great and was able to really see the world. Italy, Greece, Spain, Africa, France and Germany. Lucky to have been on the Flag Ship of the 6th Fleet, if I had 30 days leave, they wouldn't see me until the 29th day lol. Thanks, and I got to do all this at the ripe old age of 18-22.

We were on MSC in the Mediterranean Sea. I will say that the ship was beautiful and the staff did have a hard time new staff at the bars and with all the different nationalities onboard. The casino was great I played 6 days in the casino on only $100 it was epic fun. The shows were elaborate. The comedy was perfect and the lounge bar and shows were so much fun! Would sail in US to try it out, this video really helped Ty 😊

Disney cruise for adults? Absolutely! My husband and I have down it twice with our kids. The only reason we stopped at two was because at some point, DCL became too expensive for us. I loved your video. I'm going to have to check out your others. As for cruising solo, I cruised solo once, and it was so much fun. I highly recommend it for everyone who is physically able to do it.

I'm gonna take that cruise one of these days. I live in Vancouver and like going on solo trips. You can't beat the price and I used to work on cruise ships, so know what to expect. I also will bring the fake tan, as don't lay out in the sun without high sunscreen protection!
