If one does not like the Nazi coins I can give you a list of other same area world coins you should not collect 🤷.... WW2 Russia was just as evil as Germany during that time - to give 1 example:)
Honestly when you say it’s uncomfortable to own those nazi coins, I kinda disagree. Now by all means I’m not a nazi but I love history and I think owning one would be nice to have. For one they aren’t common and two they still have that silver content to it
This world is ridiculous. It's a coin. It doesn't define someone. Imagine you own a documentary of a serial killer. Does rhat make you a serial killer? Like all the idiots destroying statues. It's literally a rock. 🪨 How can people be so offended by a rock or a coin? Ridiculous in my opinion.
@@codymoreland4496 I agree 100% dude. It’s best to honor the past in order to not redo the bad things in the past. Plus it’s neat history. Just think about what that nazi coin was all exchanged at during that time period
Very cool collection. A friend of mine is bringing over a collection that he inherited today. Can’t wait to go through it. I’ll make a video and share on my channel. Thanks for a fun video!
Are you saying the 1932 is not ms 65??? What grade do you believe it is? A coin does not magically become better if graded just costs more to grade and others will believe the grade more. Looked pretty nice on screen and surely red. When is your whatnot sale as I would love to bid on that.
Great business ethics 👌🏻 especially considering the great content she’s providing. Btw, at 13:47 you value a 1926 Lincoln cent at $9 so she made out on that one!
I’m not calling you dishonest and am no coin expert. But I do buy Morgan’s and those if in condition you said and they looked are more than 32 on eBay or in person a good condition Morgan you are lucky to find at 35 or 40. Really good in $40s OR MORE but that’s high as I go on them.
Censoring is horrible. Censoring history is changing or erasing history. Who can then learn if that is done. History can in fact just be a look at what actually happened, with no bias since we weren't there. We don't need to feel uncomfortable over what someone on another continent did before we were born.
Obviously, you would NOT have gotten away with ripping her off. You might have successfully tricked her, and hidden from her, and never told a soul, but you could NEVER escape your own conscience. I applaud your sensibly selfish desire to continue respecting yourself.
Do I have an error coin? A 2022D Maya Angelou quarter that is a Bronze color on both sides and the rim it is reddish in color. I am a coin collector since the 50’s, went into military and stopped collecting until last year. No one even replys to my question for what reason(s)
Will you be the first to reply to me regarding a bronze Maya Angelou Dollar 2022D . I have never before saw this nor are they error coins. Can you tell me any more info on it?. Thank you Joseph
My grandmothers father was a collector and she had the sister coin of your Georgia quarter, the Alabama 2×2 (rarer version) in a cup full of coins. I quickly took it and put in in a collective sleeve. It was a 125-500$ (depending on grade) coin in the 1990s when I found it.
Great video,, thank you,, I inherited a complete Lincoln Cent collection from my Dad who passed a few years ago,, from 1909 to around 2005 and we have all the key dates that are the pricey coins you had mentioned,, he collected since he was a small boy. I also have the complete Flying Eagle Cent collection from him.. Pretty cool.
The Stone mountain coin was approved by congress and was used to help fund the project. It is not a glorification of the confederacy, it is to remember the history.
Received package from your last whatnot auction couple days ago. Everything was great. Wished the north african note was in a sleeve instead of between two pieces of taped cardboard.
How much did you buy it for cuz he probably only paid around 15% of what you paid for it and he probably bough it telling the person who he bought it from that it's only worth 20 bucks so I'll pay you 75% so $15 this dude's worse than a pawn shop 😂 he always has to bring up the Nazis every time he sees a Nazi coins what are you worried about Buddy Closet Nazi
I’m a 100% against the Nazi movements, but I’m a history buff. I would be interested in the nazi coins if the price is right. I also buy tax tokens and bus and tram tokens
I'm from Oklahoma and the National Guard of Oklahoma had that same symbol for Indians the 45th Army have that emblem before they changed it to an eagle😮
Telling someone their collection isn't worth much when you know it is not only selling a piece of your soul, it's also very illegal... And will destroy your reputation forever. Don't be a scumbag forever
gotta be able to sleep at night. sadly there are alot of people who dont think twice about ripping people off big time who dont know much about coins who acquire a collection from a family member. probly more of those then there are honest people sadly. and also i can see there being quite a few WW2 memorabilia collector not just coin collectors who would be good buyers for the nazi germany coin's.
Hi Picker, regarding the 1932 Lincoln, I couldn't tell the grade from few seconds i saw it with the phone I'm using, but it looked RB. Are you saying the coin was a lower grade and not worth $70, or were you saying it wasn't worth $70 because it wasn't stabbed by a reputable grading company? I asked because $70 is a fair price for an 32 p RB at ms-65. Of course I would look for a better price myself, but $70 isn't agregious.
12 days and counting……..Who is going to the 2022 Fantasy Fest in Key West, Florida? October 21st to 30th this year’s theme is: “Cult Classics and Cartoon Chaos”.
I love my 1975- 2013 penny book. I fell in love with collecting all sorts of coins and years.. it was actually the book that got me started. Its priceless.
Buenas tengo varias monedas con errores de 10 centavos de dolar 1cuarto de dolar de 1967 sin seca tengo muchas me puedes ayudar donde las puedo vender gracias
Swastikas are not just eastern symbols, it was used by nearly all cultures worldwide from Native Americans to Finland, India, and the far east to name a few geographic areas.
Exactly, there's so much good history surrounding this symbol. Personally I'm a little put off by his comments. Making sure he only sells to those who pass his neo nazi comfort test. Like seriously, how ironic can you get?
Very awesome pickup! Anyone that says offering 75% is too little is crazy, 75% is very generous if the intent is to resell. If its going to be sold on eBay or wherever, that's 10-15% right off the top plus shipping and time. Not only that but most people these days at a show or other place will also ask for about 10-15% off eBay as well when trying to do a deal. You're offering a service for someone that doesn't want to put in the time and upfront cost. Keep up the great content!
I have a 1971 Lincoln penny, brown in color, with no mint mark it appears to be damaged from factory. The # 1 in the # 19 is missing and the 'ty' in liberty is missing and smudged, do you think it would be worth anything?
Brown normally lowers the value from if it was red. Normally you can look up coin variations from a couple different websites but normally unless its in perfect grade its not worth much. I have 4 very decent pennies 3 1960 with a bie error and 2 d/d errors and a coin from the 40s all worth 8 bucks or under. Most errors are not well known or looked for to be worth much sadly
Thats is only a us coins I collect all of kinds of coins international including my country backhome in Philippines and here in my country here in canada
Well he only paid a a penny and a half for each of them but if you want them you're going to have to pay him for his hard work it's only fair he only paid 75% of the 50% of the total value of the coin collection
As a Yankees fan who lives in Texas, I try to see the Yanks live every year. In mid '22 I bought a pair of double header tickets cause they were on sale. Turned out to be the day Judge broke the record. It was electric in Globe Life. Everyone there was a Judge fan on that day!
Who can tell me who's on the Nazi coin? (portrait of) I want to say Gobbles!! (sp) 🤷♂Oh and great video. Personally don't like pennies (or any coins that aren't silver or gold) even tho I have 100's of wheaties and a crapload of other coins from my youth in the 60's (all checked and no I'm not rich).😂 😂
Off the top of my head, I believe it's Hindenburg (or maybe Von Hindenburg). He was a Field Marshall, and led the German Army, in WWI, and he was German President before Hitler.
@@i.marchand4655 yes I do know Hindenburg but would they put him on a coin that was manufactured during WW2 and it was well known Hitler personally hated Hindenburg.🤷🏻♂️🤣🤣
@@pieheadthemainiac5480 Hindenburg appointed Hitler to Chancellor in '33, then died in '34. WWII started in '39. Looks like they had 1 and 5 Mark coins with Von H. and a swastika, 1936-39.
The 1914 D had the full bust of Lincoln I think you purposely didn't get close to it to show the detail which would leave speculation but a fine 15 is where I seen it at and not a good six it was a minimum $250 coin minus the grading fee which would be 30 bucks roughly so you're talking about a $200 that you paid 75% of 150 till like 90 bucks but it probably went for a little more than 200 A couple of those Morgan dollars were mint state and you price them at fucking scrap all of them which a couple of them were an extra fine condition but any Morgan Dollar in mid state is minimum hundred bucks minus the grading fee obviously if you were going to make an argument for yourself and then you want to say you got to be transparent you got to be truthful it's not worth a couple extra dollars and all you're doing is trying to save face against people who are easily convinced who are going to involve themselves with you
Not teue that all mint state morgans are $100 or more. Sold items on ebay will give you an idea of what they currently sell for in various gades. PCGS has a price and population guide.
@@johnrussomediacrime cmon how are you trying to debate that Morgan's overall run $100 or more obviously $100 isnt even something to consider when talking anything past MS65
You want to be transparent and honest make a video with all the sales from this coin collection that you graciously paid 75% of the total value for your own words honesty and transparently right you got something to prove right it's what you do right I bet he won't even respond to this comment he might he might try to push the request into a negative light if anything but yeah how much did you sell the 1914 D Lincoln penny for let's start there $150 coin oh my God it's so valuable I was wrong about this Penny book the lady was happy with my generous 75% of only 80% of the total value of the 1914 so you take the 1914's actual value you knock it down to 80%, and then he pays 75% of that 80% cuz it's so gracious honesty transparency right right lol
Kudos on your honesty as a buyer. I agree if you buy at 75% or whatever..... be 100 percent honest about value if item. If you cheat someone out of a few dollars I think it will come back on you. If your honest...... news has a way of traveling
I have a 1999 $100.00 bill that was cut wrong (No border on the bottom, big border on top). Where should I take it to get evaluated? The serial number is BBoo451028B then there is a B2 under that number. Please point me in the right direction.
I am a firearms dealer and I pay about the same, 75% sometimes more for guns. I show them how I value it and explain that I need to make money and they sell more often than not. Gun stores can really take advantage of people. Not all by any means but some are almost criminal.
Exactly how I price collections to buy price it all out, show them the going value. I actually offer 72% as I work on such a small margin and costs going up forced me to get another 3% for margins
Hi! My dad is a coin collector and really interested in buying your nazi two mark pieces if you will be selling them! He’s a history fanatic and loves all things World War II!
The thing about being dishonest that no one thinks of, until it is too late, you will never forget what you did. If you are a psycopath or concienceless, you probably won't care, all others will have regret till their dying day.
I really enjoyed the video and have been a collector for a number of years. Like yourself I'm not a fan of the nazi coins, however I do own one because it was part of a set, and yet I cringe every time I happen upon it. You did state that the commemorative half dollars have been around since 1892 starting with the Columbian Exposition. There was a lull in 1954 when our government stopped producing commemorative coins, and in 1959 Robert McNamara started the Heraldic Art series coins in .925 and 22k gold. In 1982 the commemorative half was re-introduced and continues to this day. Thanks for the great video.
wow very cool collection, love all your videos, i was wondering how you come up with your market value for the coins you are purchasing, do you use redbook, usa coin book, or grey sheet? and then using your 75%
15:50 as a collector of these I understand the discomfort but I am a history nut so my WW2 type set has information on the war per year with coins and paper from each country that was involved in the year and I am looking for some time accurate European maps for each year so you can see how Germany pushed out then got pushed back each year through out the war.
