@@calculator_boy Oh wow, ok so it's not a one off thing. Do you have any 92 or 92 plus units that you'd be willing to sell that have lines in the display? Horizontal, vertical, or both.
France has lots of TI calculators that were never made available for the U.S. market. I tried to purchase the black 89 Titanium and other 92s and voyage 200s on french websites but they don't offer international shipping sadly.
I got a ti-92 for whatever reason pressing f5 causes it to freeze although you can just navigate to f5 on the home screen by selecting one of the other function buttons and pressing the arrow buttons. also some text in the f1 menu appears to be bugged don't understand why but it doesn't affect operating the calculator enough to impede me from using it.
When you press F5, it takes you to the page where programs are typically ran from. If you have no previously opened programs, then the page will appear blank, and pressing ESC will take you back to the home screen. As for "bugged menu", those missing pixels indicate that the options are not available on the current page. For instance when you press F1 while on HOME, line 1 and 3 will be greyed out. Pressing the APPS button and creating a new "Text Editor" file will make those options available.
