DPAD: Directional pad (D-pad) (6): This is a raised plus sign-shaped toggle that resides at the bottom left of the controller's face. It moves the focus up, down, right, and left in game, app, and Xbox interfaces. The D-pad can be remapped to other inputs using the Xbox Accessories app.

@FranchiseKicks Step is when an analogue stick input movement without you touching it. 8:56 and also for the wired headsets are interchangeable. You can use them both for Xbox and PlayStation.

Hey guys just wanted to let you know DPAD or DPad is short for Directional Pad. It is the up, down, left and right button on the left below the analog toggle. It probably sticks or something. Thanks for the video and I hope you guys have a Merry Christmas!!!

Stick drift is HORRIBLE with any Xbox Controller. You can have the stick idle and it will drift off into a direction usually up. It disrupts the stick, the directional pad and the trigger. Great box and thanks for the content!!!

No, it's not any worse than any other primary OEM controller. They all (Xbox, Nintendo, PS) use the same basic Alps mechanism.

Oh boy. Resellers buy these pallets of items they have no idea on the details and worse yet, what to look for as far as defects. They were returned for a reason. High latency has nothing to do with stick drift… 2 completely different issues. Sorry but I bet you will not be able to detect latency issues or other commonly known problems other than no power. FYI most Elite Core controllers come right from MS with centering & latency issues. You have maybe $800-$900 worth of Xbox accessories in “open box condition” Props for trying but best to stay in your lane with items you’re knowledgeable about.

Controller drift is a common term used when a controller's joystick no longer responds accurately to your input or when they move, or drift, on screen without touching it.

Also, Stick Drift is when you're playing the game, and you character or car is moving without you doing anything. Caused from abuse of the buttons and sticks by pushing to hard. This causes the drift issues.

Just to let you know that where I’m at which is California that at GameStop it’s a game store that sells new and used games/consoles/accessories so the Xbox white boxes controllers (which is the black standard controllers) sell at GameStop used for $39.99 without the box and only in a plastic bag with nothing else in the bag only the controller so you ought to get with box and cables for at least $45 but mote like $50 easy since new they run $59.99 to $64.99

Hey guys Stick drift is a problem where an analog control stick registers input without being actuated1. It can cause your character or menu to move in a direction without your input 2. Stick drift can be caused by dirt, damage, or wear-and-tear of the potentiometers inside the stick. i repair consoles and controllers. i have a lot of controllers come in with stick drift. Clint the Question you had on a pervious video about setting the ps5 upright or laying down. first of the ps5 runs hot and the liquid metal on the GPU can run when the ps5 is setting upright and can cause the GPU to short out the mother board there is a fix to this issue. or a preventer

Stick Drift happens to all controllers sadly because these companies use a cheap part for the analog stick. It's all based on how much time you play though. It usually starts off minor with the controller making your screen move on its own slowly and progressively gets worse.

That controller in the Elite box didn't look like an Elite version. I think they switched the Elite with a normal one and returned. I recommend you double check that.

Regarding Xbox controllers with quote unquote stick drift you can still sell them on eBay and get some money you won't get as much but in your title and your description include that it has stick drift and that it is for parts only and you can usually get roughly I'd say about half of what regular prices going for also stick drift really started with a Nintendo switch that's where it really became a well-known issue but Xbox has been prone to it as well I've had several controllers that have done it on Xbox

Target got ya.. You're not turning the profit absolutely no way at most you get 1400 or 1500 and that's pushing everything to its max.. the likelihood you probably end up getting between 1150 to 1225 for everything. That's a loss Target, basically sold you the items at full price no discount no nothing and probably added a little on top.

Stick drift is horrible. Controllers that have it end up in the graveyard. Imagine playing a racing game and you're on a straight away and your car slowly all by itself starts slowly turning to the left. You adjust it only for the car to drift left after correcting. It makes the gaming experience absolute garbage. It's possible to fix but easier to just trash and replace
