These storage unit clean outs always make me stop and think about what useless junk I’m holding on to. I don’t always get rid of the junk, but I do stop and think about it 😊
Relatable. I have an entire 5 x 5 storage unit filled up with stuff because I moved out of the country and I do plan to come back and I’m wondering and hoping that I was a sensible as I felt like I was being when I packed it with my small kitchen appliances and Linens and sewing supplies and my huge fabric stash. There is a lot of fabric. Good stuff!
I had the same thought. Though she clearly was concerned for her child’s well being what with the toys and all. Hopefully, they are flourishing somewhere.
How you keep going after you found the ‘tail’ I will never know! I lost it for about two minutes 😂😂😂 Not a bad unit for $40. Definitely better than the last one. Take care. Charlotte xx🇬🇧
@@PaperandMoose -Part of me thinks they ordered the tail from Wish, Temu, AliExpress not having a clue, as it was stored with costumes, toys (kids toys ;-)
@@dmreddragon6yeah. I know a teen that ordered one thinking it was “tie round waist” kind of tail for a comicon.... Yeah. That’s not how it attaches! (Also, has to spend several minutes thinking how not to say strap no)
You did good Miss Moose...those totes alone worth 40 bucks...at least there wasn't a used pregnancy test in there.....😂.....I think your viewers would have liked to see you in one of those wigs, and wearing that green dress and stilettos !👠....when you got home, I hope you had a hot bowl of storage unit soup!🍲
Ok first of all how did i miss you hitting 75k subs hell your flying to 80k. Congratulations im so happy for you. Ive been with you since about 2k when you really wanted to do this fulltime and was filming some videos while travelling for your 9/5 job. Its nice to see you smile and happy. Ps another great video. You should be able to easily get your $40 back probably just from the empty totes. Keep pushing 100k is closer than you think. Dan
Thankfully, I had a recent video do pretty well. I hope that my new subscribers stick around for more content! Thanks for being there from the beginning & watching!
Hi Renee. Another storage unit. But you didn't do too bad. You found stuff that you don't know of the fashion or make of them. But go on line and find out if it can be sold on eBay or the Flea Market. Have an amazing day. God Bless you Renee. HUGS 🤗. Mari'a. 🤗🤗💙👋👋👋👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💜💜💙💙💙🌼🌸🦋🦋🦋🌺🌺🌺🌺
This was fun. A lot of saleable items. Except for that animal fluffy tail.😂 can you imagine? Of course you could lay it out on a table and just watch for reactions. That might liven up the day some. Or you could sneak it onto Tacos table.😂 I love you. Stay safe and healthy. ❤️😘💕💕💕🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✌️
Unfortunately my cat 🐈 loves to chew on my phone 📱 cords & I definitely always need replacement ones handy. I would say that was a fine $40 dollar buy. You'll have lots of stock at the next few markets & that attracts buyers. Good score ✅️ !
‘Clear Totes’ seems to be the way forward Renee. Everythings visible - which puts off the mystery hunters. Even so, they're full of surprises; weird wigs, luminous clothing, ‘sugar-free dresses‘, ‘Pin The Tail On The.……’ Ahem. The erm, ‘Faux Fox Fur Stole’ - all kinds of someone's fun! Some nice domestic products though; bubble bath, razors, face scrub, brushes - all saleable. Vaseline as well………
This stuff is clean. You got some new items and useful supplies. I get stuff from family, friends, and neighbors. Then I pass on what I don't need. Tina, Al's wife
Renee, you have $40.00 in totes alone. The rest is just profit. Love when you share these videos. Always interesting to see what others put in storage then don’t pay. 😂
I remember at one time, if a company stopprd making certain cosmetics or perfume, people would pay good money for opened or partially used products, not sure if it's the same now.
Love the fact that everything was in totes ! Makes it sooo much easier. You can easily get your money back, and then some, just selling the tote bags, totes and sheving unit. 💗
The “mystery” is gone with the clear totes. When the heavy bidders see kids toys & clothing, they usually have no interest as they’ll wait for a jam-packed unit that has box upon box inside. We were at another facility that also had clear totes, but those totes were filled with older Fisher Price toys & vintage games, so the bidding went pretty high there.
That is the cleanest storage unit I ever seen. I always wonder what happened to the people that had the unit. I looks someone boxed up everything and threw it in storage.
Oh my goodness!!!!🤩👍 I think you will get your cash back for the unit and much more. 🤡I used to make costumes for kids and adults, you can sell costumes for good money also. I thought that this unit was a blast to watch🤓 Have a great weekend Renee, and thank you❣
I got some fake Crocs at Walmart for $12.94 Renee. They look really dumb. Very few holes. My son laughs at them. I told him I just got them to go to the mailbox in🤣(NC)
You aren’t alone! I have my outdoor shoes too! The one pair of Crocs in a unit are about a size too big for me, but like you, they are my mail & watering the flowers shoes!
Great show and a smart decision to buy the content of this locker. Just the clean empty totes will be a total return of investment (if you like to sell them), and in addition to that, you got a huge assortment of pretty neat flea market items. So, well done, and you made a little step more to 100k subscribers (nearly 78k right now). 👍A very Happy Pentecost to you and your family (holiday over here on Sunday AND Monday), and see you on the next one ! 🌄Greets from GER, U.
You are so cute when you run across "racy" stuff. That nervous giggle is priceless. What you found was simply an Auditor Of The Month award from the movie, Everything Everywhere All at Once. No need to be embarrassed by that. Nice to see your reusable grocery bag collection grow, adding to the other unit you bought that was filled with them. May rival your cherished Yellowstone collection. Another fun video Renee.
while I love finding clothing (that is pretty much all I sell on poshmark) husband and I would have been delighted with the Dr. Teals...we are addicted..best epsoms salts, bath salts, body wash and lotion every made...especially the lavender scented. Fashion nova is a fast fashion brand...once in a while a sought after item does well...its worth listing
So for $40 bucks, you did remarkably well, your reaction to that 'item' "Priceless" really made me laugh 😅 hehe, also those totes will come in handy for your customers at the flea.
Great storage unit video, I think you made your money back just on the totes. And your reaction to the racy stuff is hilarious. My granddaughter liked the way you have your hair, so guess what mom gets to do. You do look cute, love you and enjoy day!!
I would say you "bagged" some easy profit there. I guess you won't be flying that fox tail on your car's antenna ( I found just a squirrel's tail in my yard one time & thought about it, but figured I get video'd, then death threats, etc.). I don't know much about anything you bought (except the price of totes) but based on the other comments - it seems you did pretty well. Glad for that. I made it to 2 estate sales, the Re-Store, and another thrift today. All I ended up with was a carved hippo from one of the estate's "free" piles. He's missing 3 feet so will have to try my hand at carving. One of the estate sales was in a grand historic house in town - built by the daughter of a prominent businessman around 1910. Restored about 25 years ago. Colonial, but stucco. Copper roof. If you're really interested you can look up 911 S. Duke St. in Durham, though the back of the house is more spectacular. The woman who is selling it told me that it had been previously owned by a man who loved the front sitting room, which he'd painted a loud red. He loved it so much that his wake took place in that room. One night, after she had started stripping the wallpaper in the room (the red paint was rolled on over wallpaper), there was a lot of banging in the attic. That continued for several days, she said, until she laid out paint chips which showed she was going to repaint it (a more subdued) red. Two door up (north) is the "Opera House" which was run as an opera school for awhile. It's a beautiful Tudor - my wife and I looked at it in 2005 but didn't have the wherewithal to buy it & do the needed restoration. The woman I spoke with today said those neighbors had told her that they had occasionally seen a young girl looking out a front bedroom window when they returned home from somewhere. I don't know the story but apparently the neighbors eventually had the original owner over for dinner (she was the mother of the family, now quite old) and as she was leaving, the current owners said, "Annie (I think was the name), would you like to go home with your Mother?" And they never saw her again. I think buying used stuff is worth it just for the people you run into. My all-time favorite is the lady from whom we bought an antique bookcase, who claimed she was the reincarnation of both John and Abigail Adams. Hope you have a fabulous remainder of your weekend. Thanks for the video & continued congratulations on the growing number of subscribers.
The large plastic totes with the closing lids... easily about $20 retail if you had to buy them. There is wayyyyyy over $100 in just totes. And if you don't need them yourself... at least $10 at the flea market. I always make sure to clips cords off broken and dirty appliances I find as well as tour bag of wires there. Insulated copper wire...good money. Clip them, put them in a 5 gallon bucket till it is full and recycle for money. Give them to Taco Stacks for some gas money
I think you did good for the amount you spent. Definitely will make your money back. I would keep the clear purse. Most concerts & events you have to have a clear bag to enter. I don’t comment a lot but know I watch all your posts. Have a great week & stay safe out there.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Clothes!! Hey...I see a memory in that second tote...the Parker Brother's Game...SORRY...way back in the mists of time...this little tyke and his mom, played this game on rainy days! A Halloween idea...that wild red wig and a big bag full usable bags! An up-to-date Bag Lady! Fashion??? Foot wreckers...ouch! You can make a tree out of that bottle brush! Looks like money from the unit...yeah, nothing exciting...no hidden "Ribbits"!
When my husband was in the military and we were moving around a lot, we put a lot of our household stuff into storage for about 7 years. We were excited to see what was in there again when we eventually got back. We needn't have bothered. We had subconsciously stored all the stuff we never really wanted or needed. Luckily our storage was paid for us, but imagine what a waste of money to do that and never reclaim it or have the realisation that you'd paid for 7 years' worth of rubbish! But I think you'd definitely make back your $40 there and some!
I cannot tell you how excited I am to have found you again! I don’t know why, but your channel had absolutely disappeared from my RU-vid feed. It had also unsubscribed me!!! (And yours is not the only subscription that this has happened to for me! 🤔🤷🏼♀️) Well, I will fix that now! 😉😃 The main reason that I am writing today is to tell you…I am so proud of you!!! You’re so much more confident in your videos now! You’re relaxed enough that you seem to enjoy making your videos, as much as enjoy watching them! It makes my heart smile. And you’re just as cute as a button! (Never was sure just how cute buttons are supposed to be…😂) Please don’t be offended, I’m not trying to be condescending, I am truly complimenting you.😊 You’re probably about the same age as my sons, so maybe I’m being maternal! Ha! 😁 I haven’t seen one of your videos for at least a couple of years. So, I’m binge watching now! God bless you! I’m looking forward to enjoying more of your videos in the future. Jacqui
Hi Renee. You’ll have double your money back and then some just from the totes, shelves and all those reusable bags. If I was at a FM and needed another bag, I’d even be happy to pay a little for it! Always interesting to see what people pay (or don’t!) to store. At least everything looked/seemed clean, even if there was no big mystery openings😉Thanks for taking us along, and have a great week💜🌷
$10 large plastic storage containers i had to move 2023 and left a good fridge couch and lots stuff but i found most it on the streets few months b4 i moved riding past on my bike someone dump about $10K of wines in boxes on a side street i grabbed about 3 doz assorted reds :)
Between the "over the top" wigs, costumes, make-up and body care products it's very like to be a Strippers collection of garb who had kids and worked part time at Target.
$40 spent on an afternoon of fun, where else can you get that? Can you even go out to eat in a fancy restaurant AND then you get your money back . That's a win!
You shouldn’t poo poo the canned food that is beyond its expiration date. Most canned good are good for at least two years beyond the expiration date. The taste and texture may have degraded slightly but it will still be fine for eating. If you don’t want to eat it as soup many are good bases for casseroles or sauces. If you do a little research you’ll quickly come to the conclusion that expiration dates on food stuff, except for fresh vegetables and meat, are arbitrary dates to sell more product.
Guessing it could be either…Someone could pass and the family not know of the storage unit, person could have gone to jail, or just decided not to pay anymore…
