siddarth shivappa empathise on civilised! So easy man, makes you feel confident and it’s predictability is what makes it an awesome road/track bike! Love it 😍
I have the SP same as you absolutely love it, Just fitted the race fit black edition end can 🙉🙉🙉 nice domino grips and some R and G protection. Be watching this looking forward to your updates
Yes we have wonderful roads in Phoenix Arizona beautiful canyon twisty bank roads going up into Prescott and Flagstaff where you can hone your skills drag your knee and long straightaways with no turn off roads it’s absolutely beautiful here you’re around to ride and can’t wait to get the bike that you got my Kawasaki ZX 10 R is a wonderful bike just seems to be so brutal and everything it does not as refined as the Honda I can’t wait thank you so much for the videos I really really appreciate it
Follow your nose onto the track, seek out excellent ride schools and teachers/mentors and get amongst it. You've got money behind your interest and this gives you such awesome opportunity to dive deep into the tech, techniques and sharpen your inner experience and the skills that will bring. Maybe even travel to Italy to attend the excellent schools there and have a blast! Don't forget the California Superbike School in the UK (and other schools). I'd recommend looking at adding something like Iyengar yoga (a style that helps develop great technique through excellent training and bring the mind to touch the precision in the body/organism) into your training so bring great body awareness to your riding and movement on the bike. Marc Marquez does yoga!
I want to thank you so much for posting these videos it means the world to me I absolutely love your bike it’s going to be the next bike I purchase hopefully sooner than later before they’re all gone I currently ride a 2017 Kawasaki and ZX-10r I love the bike but Honda has one my heart over especially through your videos thank you so much and keep them coming live out here in Phoenix Arizona USA Honda is a huge aspect of my life now and can’t wait to get on the very bike you just bought thank you sweet girl for the videos you’re wonderful
Could you please please do one more vlog how are you doing with this bike, likes and dislikes. The quick shifter and bliper people say they are finding problems with them.
Will do buddy, been a bit Hectic with personal life last few months but done a lot of track days and road miles with this bike now so will do an update video soon 🤙
Project Moneypits same to you and don’t get too drunk I know you and eBay get along a bit to well 🤣 otherwise another project will pop up 🥳 have a wonderful Christmas and new year.
I'm getting a fireblade next week. It's not the SP, just two RRs, and I'm probably as excited as you were! :DDDDDDD Dunno about mods yet, probably get theft protection and frame protectors first. I'm going to use it mainly for commuting and weekend fun.
So as a person who only has room for one bike and currently has the 2016 (base) model; would you recommend jumping ship if said person already loves existing bike as is??
Treizez34 how tall are you? Riding position on this bike is more snug but weirdly sits taller with seat design, once your feet are up if feels completely different. I own both and feel the difference immediately. If you go for the SP, the additional electronics you will love (going from cable throttle to ride by wire takes some getting used to as there is a lack of initial feel) the quickshifter up and down is amazing! Noticeably better weight shift from side to side. The tank you don’t feel as locked into but once you figure out your ideal position it’s great. Suspension settings are basically hard or harder. You would not be disappointed if you made this shift but it will initially feel alien.
Project Moneypits thanks for the feedback. I am around 6’1 so a little taller than the average rider. I always did feel my bike as a little cramped, but nothing majorly uncomfortable (contemplating rear sets to see if it makes a difference for me)
I'm very interested in hearing your first hand experience regarding the wheels on the SP2. How much an influence are they? A SP2 is probably out of reach for me, but one can get lighter wheels for an SP. So what are your thoughts on that? Does it handle better? Is it truly noticable?
Burny the wheels on the SP2 are immediately noticeable, that bike feels feather light through corners, most noticeable when you late brake into a corner and throw it in, seriously agile. Put it this way, the guy that owns that bike is relatively novice and I’ve seen him on other bikes to compare his riding too, he is so confident on the SP2 and I would put that partially down to the fact that you can throw it round like a 600! 😁 hope that helps.
@@projectmoneypits5204 Not much I can shave of over here. And wheels are unsprung weight. Very important. Let me know when the time comes to say goodbye to the SP. Perhaps it wants to move to Belgium.
Kal Heer yeah I got so lucky with this one! Probably shouldn’t have bought another bike but wasn’t going to say no at that price!!! 🙌 if I spot one I’ll send link your way 😊
@@projectmoneypits5204 turned out looking amazing I've a hrc 07 blade love it but next year I hope to pick up a 17 or 18 plate blade like yourself. Can't believe how much the price has dropped!
