Back again with another video thanks to new internet!
This is my new FTX Kanyon, also known as an VRX RH1047.
Other than a bit of paint, and the chassis mod, this is as they perform out of the box, and at £165 (even cheaper online) its one hell of a bit of kit!
Mods are on there way, from China, so will be a while...

Love the music on this video and enjoyed the good cam angles, nice one. Kanyons are great crawlers for an entry level with so much scope for upgrades..

Ive got a kanyon, i thinm its grwat for the money. Motor lift is a must though. Also, what was the song?

Front wheel weights are a must pal . I use roofing lead cut into a strip wrapped around 3 times followed with insulation tape . Easy mod that's keeps the front end on the ground for maximum grip 👍😜

I’ve got a modified Kanyon everything plastic is now blue aloy and bought 2.2 beadlock wheels but the spigot drive shaft is to short for the nylocknuts to grab the shaft so can’t keep 2.2s on for more than a few minutes help me please

use some blue locktite, thats what I use when the locknuts dont work!

Different style of cars, maverick is more of a basher. If you want to climb over obstacles and take a long trail in the woods, go Kanyon. If you want to blast around the park and jump ramps, go Maverick!

@@AntoniosLoizides ahh, sorry my bad, thats more of a pure crawler, although the kanyon is not only bigger but more of a trail truck. Chassis wise they are very similar design. It's down to personal preference, I've never had a play with a Scout Maverick so can't say how they compare on climbs/over obstacles.
