It’s crazy how the 2k dollar laptop with the 4080 and the i9 cpu performs almost the same as a 1k laptop with a 4060 and intel core i7.

@Herecomestheclips 😂 are you tripping 4060 is 8 gb but the 4080 12 gb also vram doesn't affect fps in fortnite because it's not a vram heavy game also even if it was vram helps with the stability of the fps not boosting the performance

100-300 fps increase isn't "almost the same" also the hz is 240 on the second one instead of 165 on the 4060 laptop additionally fortnite on 1080p with lowest settings isn't gpu heavy mainly CPU so you cannot same that there's no difference until you test it in 4k or 1440p with max graphics

@@Neighbour1there’s no 100-300 fps difference. You keep saying rtx 4080 this 4080 that. But fortnite is a cpu based game. So in theory all you would need is a good cpu. There’s literally the same performance on both laptops

I got lucky I got a 1k laptop from Facebook for 300 and it runs 240 in game and 370 in creative it has an rtx 2060 and an i5 10th gen it’s called gateway sometime it’s like 700 bucks brand new but back then it was 1k its like 4 years old laptop still runs really good

i have an asus tuf with pretty much the same gpu (i5 11400h, rtx 3050, the 2050 is just the 3050 but only capped to 60w of power, 75 with dynamic boost and a cheaper price), and i can say that the limiting factor here is the ram, 8gb of ram does not allow it to use its full performance. I tested my laptop with its stock 8gb ram and it got the exact same performance result as the hp victus, so just adding another 8gb of ram to make it have 16gb in total will allow the 2050 (and 3050) to perform its fullest and prety much get a 95% locked 144fps experience. Hope this info helps u get the most out of your laptop! :D

@@JuanchoGYT_124 thank you for this I was thinking of getting some more ram sticks as well so I might now, also this is my first ever gaming experience on a laptop/pc so I wanted to get something that wouldn’t be too expensive if I didn’t like it but right now I’m loving the gameplay as there’s such a variety of pc games to play I currently only have Fortnite installed as I think it can only take that much on my laptop but I am saving for a PC with a 4060 so I hope that I will be able to save up for that so I can play even more games on my PC with my friends and family :D

@@NeoXNizer is it the 165hz 1440p screen model or is it the standard 1080p 144hz?, if it is the 2560x1440 screen then yeah, just keep it at 1920x1080 at you'll be fine, if its the 1920x1080 screen then try updating both intel gpu driver and nvidia gpu driver, as those 2 need to be updated in order to deliver performance, specially in laptops that have a mux switch like yours. Hope this helps!

Hey KXNG!!!! I did an experiment with a floorfan right, basically i turn it 90 degrees ( vertical) and i put the laptop on it. Flat on table, on apex legends its between 94-100 celsius right? And with the floorfan( its very powerful btw) the temps dont go above 82, and my Wattage, which was above 32watt maximum, now was at 35 minimum it was amazing . And when you think about it, almost everyone has a powerful fan in there house that blows air that you feel from meters away. i posted another video on it lol! Its titled,how to make CPU GPU go from 100 to 80 easily. You should drop a comment brotha!!
