And probably the Lamborghini lawsuit too! Recently, Lamborghini managed to apprehend several replicas in court! Some were only in the owners' houses and were not even used on the streets! If it was Ferrari they would be talking badly but how was Lamborghini everything ok right?!
@@MarcSob22 I mean Lambo did help that dad thats building a 3D Printed Aventador SV Roadster by sending him and his son an Aventador S to use for reference.
That would be nearly impossible. The Sesto Elemento has essentially no interior, as the body and interior are pretty much one piece. They would need to replicate everything, which could cost tens of thousands. The car doesn’t have seats, and you’re legit sitting on the body which has been molded into the shape of a seat, with padding and the likes. The only thing that could MAYBE be done is the dash, but that’s equally complicated.
I think that the problem is that you cannot get all the parts that you need so fast. So it makes sense to start building multiple cars so you can film at least one.
@@missilecustoms I used to get more annoyed at all the “stalls” in projects. Many even disappear forever. But you have to also be sensitive to the amount of work that the builds take. This is a business for them. If a project doesn’t generate enough views, it might not be worth continuing. Quick status “mentions” or updates can help us feel “not abandoned” though.
The welds are tack together and are not fully welded, no strength in accidents. Some tubing will need to be cut out and replaced as there is large hole in tubing, no strength in tubing and will fold up quicker than empty toilet paper roll when needed in accident.
Design and build a Tavarish one off. No body kits, no based on this or that. Maybe reach out to the community to design something unique and build it up to the quality of your McLaren. That would be Awesome!
Clutch release bearing and pressure plate is screwed and will need replacing along with whatever else is damaged. The warning DO NOT buy POS is too late as it sold old for parts not to be title, NO registrations for insurance as will not past safety crash testing.
@@dusanmikovic6633 not like ryan choi's but similar to that, its more like the shart kart from hoonigan where its completely gutted of all body panels with some cool tubing work in its place. edit WTF is with all these p*rn ads this is stupid amount.
@@dusanmikovic6633 when i get top comments my notifications are chock FULL of them most of the time they get removed leaving my inbox full of ghost notifications its hella annoying tbf...
Drift car EASY, but here is why, 1. it already has a cool skeletonized look to it 2. perfect car to practice or learn more fabrication stuff, you could try to make the cage look better and shape the "pipelines" of it 3. its kinda like a universal car, you could do almost anything to it 4. it could be a community project car, where "we" as a whole vote for what direction do we wanna go in, what do you put in it, etc 5. its just cool to have a drift car honestly
You could make structurally and mechanically sound and then turn it into an interesting track car. Get your favorite racing body style (that you can get molds for) and put it on the tube frame.
What about bringing back the idea of a 1980's Countach / Le Mans Group C car you had a few years ago? I see this chassis as an opportunity to do it. Your own Tavarish supercar!
@@saddamlz2305 these movie cars are made on the same superlite chassis, it won't be easy to sort all the bodywork so he might as well go batshit crazy with them
Make it a all out race car, it deserves to be one, it almost already is one, simplifies the build, keep things plain and simple, I feel that is one thing you don’t have, there have been plenty of fantastic cars made by you, now it’s time to go the other way, simple, to the point, all out race car
You should 100% choose one of the 3-D scanned bodies and allow automotive design students to submit their own alternative body designs, based on what could be possible geometry-wise. Maybe then outsource some 3-D printing to any RU-vidrs in that field to help create body moulds. Another possible collaboration might be with anyone laying carbon fibre your way looking for a project to showcase their skills. Interior wise definitely go race car+ with the right balance of cheap, comfortable and I don’t care it’s not a super car interior because it’s a movie car!
After Jared bought the movie cop car, I went and watched the movie. Honestly, it wasn't bad. It was no masterpiece of filmmaking, but it was decent. It was fun, and honestly I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to it.
Wait a minute… you get a sesto elemento. Jared had one of the police cars of the movie… and you have a perfect veyron replica. That calls for a chase scene !
That s7 replica is so cool. And as far as drivetrain, I really hope they use a supercharged Ford engine, instead of the LS. Even being a replica, that would be a slap in the face.
It will never be a real one so who cares. Might aswell use the better engine plus its already in the kart.... That last bit was put in to piss people off 😂
If I remember right, when Aaron Paul was on Top Gear being interviewed by Clarkson, he mentioned that these cars cost 6 figures each to build to look as close to the real thing as possible. I wish I could link to the interview but the 2 clips I could find don't include talking about the movie. For me it wasn't a bad movie, but I might just really like the fact there was no CGI/greenscreen/(whatever the correct term is) (covered in the interview), the 3 lane 'grasshopper' (which was introduced as only a 2 lane) was really done, although it's obvious as the wheels change, but still, actual stunt trumps digital trickery every time for me. :)
Since Lamborghini Sesto Elementos were not allowed to be driven on the streets as in they were not street legal, I'd say it would be very cool for it to actually look like one, just like in the movie.
It would be cool to use it so as to build you custom Supercar like you wanted to with the fake Countach or use it as a chassis for the 3 rotor widebody Ferrari you wanted to build or whatever crazy idea you will think of...
I love seeing you and Jared work together. Lately you have been apart on separate projects, I hope in the next year you both will spend more time in collaborations!
That noise is the throw out bearing seized. Had it happen on a truck of mine and it made the same noise, it wears through the clutch fingers until you can't disengage the clutch anymore which isn't long
Who not restart your Canceled "Custom Long-Tail, Ferrari-powered, Countach-esque, Supercar Project", that originally was going to be your 2020 SEMA Build which would have used the fake Lamborghini Countach front end in the build! As it was going to be built on the Crashed "RC R race car replica Superlight SLC", but you weren't able to get any assistance in repairing it from the manufacture of them, so you ended up canceling the Project! I would so love to see that Build actually done one day, as it looked so cool in all those really sweet Renders on what it would look like when completed!
tavarish went from buying the cheapest stuff to now buying g Ferraris and McLaren's. (albeit they are just slightly damaged) its been fun watching for the past couple years
Turn it into an exoskeleton car then enter into the gamble 500 and set the world record pissing off Mister Ed Boland. Plus you'd be the world's first exoskeleton car to completed
Make a mashup supercar out of it. Ferrari headlights, mclaren tail lights, Lamborghini style vents, koenigsegg style doors something crazy. Then build body panels that have your own style body lines and custom interior
See if the movie company will give you the 3-D files so you can make and reproduce body panels to make it a replica of the movie car. Keep the engine that’s in it since it’s almost brand new or swap it out whatever would work but it would be an interesting replica of the Lamborghini. And then have the shop that did the McLaren do an interior for you. As well as buying bits and pieces of of parts to assemble the interior and such. Would be a cool project to see
Do a viewer engagement challenge. Crowdsource / crowd build the "body" of the car. Get the chassis to meet FIA or whatever and see if you can get it to survive a real race or do a time attack event with it, get it into a movie or tv show then auction it off for charity.
OK FREDDY!, what you need to do is buy a M275 Motor with low miles, Mate that Mercedes sequential trans you had made to it and swap them both in. Make a pagani Zonda mold, Adjust body to fit it on and Boom Mercedes V12 TT powered Pagani rep. :D id like to drive it too :P
Make a gallardo replica from it and drift it around Ed Bolian, while repeatedly chanting "build it better, make questionable choices and wrench every day"
What if you took a custom car, and made a custom car? like actually designing your own body, interior, etc. maybe spend a decent amount on a 3d printer that can actually print functional parts (ABS, PC, PETG, PETG-CF, PC-CF, etc) and molds to show people what you can really do nowadays to really customize your car and build something straight from your mind to reality.
Does no one else remember the last fake lambo race car , that had to be scrapped as it was to far gone. You kept the body panels for a future project. This is that perfect future project. P.S. its the face thats has been sitting on top of the toilet cubical, for months.
Having done some work on movie set building, etc, I can definitely identify with the "movie magic". Things we built in our shop that were really rough ended up looking like a million bucks once the camera and lighting guys did their work.
1:1 replica of the sesto elemento! Obviously to make it road put the needed gear in like lights windshield etc. But would be so cool to see such a beast of a car
Dear frady my friend you are flat out crazy to buy something disastrous like that ,don't you have enough crazy projects to face. I respect that in you .
I think it be really cool if they build it in mad max style with out anything tacky, also it make a good base for the cyberpunk car with the dual rear wheals.
Find a designer online that you like and have the body CNC'd, all custom. There are some great guys out there and it'd be cooler than building a replica of something that already exists
Dude get the main character Toby to come visit your shop maybe when the car is done. I'm pretty sure hes a car guy too. WHY DID THEY NOT CONTINUE MAKING THESE MOVIES??
Make that car into the rendering you did a while ago Using the "FAKE" Lambo Kit car. You have the Yellow front end of car Above the Room in the background. The frame would be a good start, that way if you need to modify it you could easily. Bet you'd make it look amazing as all your projects do!
