You have a misfire in cylinder one so change the spark plug first

just picked up an 04 sedan with a 6speed manual for a project. that 37 is a beaut

Congrats on the ride, awesome car at 19! If you haven't looked into some preventative maintenance yet, you should look at replacing the plastic heater hose union with a metal one. If it cracks and breaks (typically at 10 years/100k miles) your engine could overheat and be toast. Also at 100k, you should consider new spark plugs and ignition coils. Try new intake air filters, clean the MAF sensors with MAF cleaner, and carefully clean the throttle bodies. Should run like a champ after!

So ur maf code is prolly thrown by the misfires it’s detecting something’s not right in the airflow aswell as the misfires try to switch coils and plugs from one clyinder to another if it moves to the cylinder u put your spark plug and coil on then it’s the coil and new spark plugs or maybe just coil packs, do recommend spark plugs and oil change if you don’t know how previous owner drove it and for the tempeture sensor sometimes you have a digital reader try to run off of that and see where the car idles in temperature and if anything happens could be it was over heated before and or could be a tempeture sensor should be hard to replace just the positions are sometimes ass

Ima follow your journey man I have the exact same car color everything and mine has a cracked y pipe yours sound like you need a tune up and you have a exhaust leak just don’t push the car hard until those are fixed

this the awd model right? good choice. the misfires could be a bad sign but if you’re determined i’m sure you can turn this thing into a nice car with some decent power esp in that awd.

Good sh*t bro. Had my g37x just like yours just dark grey on the outside when I was 16/17 now I’m 18 with a s4. The G was super fun and a great deal for what it has to offer. Sounds like there might be an exhaust leak though?
