I have a Wii and a couple GameCube games it is kind of hard too get GameCube games because most of them have gone up in price and I have the Wii that is compatible with GameCube
With Super Smash Bros. Melee and Luigi’s Mansion, I praise Goodwill for throwing those in. Especially the 1st party controllers too. You got one hell of a good bundle.
You should open up and clean each of those controllers, you will need a tri-wing screwdriver but it’s definitely worth doing to make those controllers like new again as you would be surprised at the food and dirt inside them. There are some simple tutorials on RU-vid to watch if you feel like giving them a clean
@@ilhantele I did alot of looking on eBay for my orange one. And I looked at a bunch of different controllers before I decided on my orange one. All the listings I looked at said the indigo/clear ones were also Japan only.
Those colors were both available world wide, they are just less common. The Indigo/clear was a part of a console bundle. Orange is fairly common as you could just buy those in stores.
@@Wookie023 Indigo/clear was sold stand alone, at least in the States. I got an indigo GameCube early on (like a month or so after launch) and remember buying my indigo/clear controller at Toys R Us at the time.
this was a fun video to watch and i acually know why the controller was drifting its because if the joy stick is out of thr center when the console turns on that will be its defualt position to reset it press x, y and start consecutivly for 3 seconds. this also applies for the c stick and im not sure but possibly the R and L buttons
There was a lot of variety back in the mid 2000s. Now it's just the main AAA games getting sequels. Very few publishers are taking risks on new IPs. It's sad.
fun fact: if you hold a direction while plugging in the controller, the spot you were holding it becomes the neutral zone. might not be the case for you but still.
Yeah, you’re right. Later revisions of the gamecube have the digital av port removed entirely which makes the EON GCHD Mark II HDMI adapter unplugable or worse, unplayable.
I've always regretted selling all my GameCube stuff to GameStop as a kid. I have a different GameCube + a Wii and some games that I bought off someone for $50 a few years ago. But I no longer have any of the most valuable GameCube games.

The analog stick problem can happen if you're holding down the analog stick to the right when you turn the console on. The reason it happens is because it incorrectly syncs the control stick position and thinks right is the neutral position, so when you leave it in the actual neutral position it thinks you're holding left.
That's funny! Every Game Cube owner takes the disc out of the disc drive incorrectly. There is a push button on the disk drive. You have to press this to eject the disc. Similar to the Super Nintendo.
GameCube game with scratches, smear toothpaste all over it and let it sit for a bit. Wash it off and wait a while for it to dry. Smash bros wasn’t working bc or scratches... did this and works now. This isn’t a joke
Need to get need for speed underground 2 and need for speed most wanted. Played the crap out of those games back in the day. Wished I’d kept mine. Still got the snes and n64 though
Those are the colour GameCube controllers that I want. I got two silver and used to have a silver wavebird but sold it back to my brother, I just don't like charging batteries. I want to have one of each colour.
I stil have mine i bought my new from 60 bucks when nintendo diceded that game cube was not worth investing but its a smal console but but its very powerful.
500 USD for that library??? holy cow thats way overpriced! I bought my Wii and library of about 10 Wii, 5 gamecube and I didn't spend that much... maybe if you add the Wii U and the 5 games I have for it, you might hit 500... that includes all the Smash bros and 4 gamecube controllers, 2 pro controllers and 4 Wiiplus remotes... but then again I've been in Japan for 12 years... the USs used game stores seem to be getting scarce these days
@@DragonProtector digital does have its perks. I have about 50 digital games on Switch and PS4 each... but so many classics on the older ones that haven't been rereleased.

Bro. People like you are making it so much harder to be a retro gaming collector. You realize Goodwill doesn't pay a dime for any of the items that they sell. And now that they can get gullible people to buy things like this on their website for exponentially more than they're worth, they are pulling all gaming items from their stores. It sucks because this is quickly becoming an elite collectors only market, cutting out any chance for regular people without tons of expendable cash from having any chance of building their collection.
