I bought a low mileage carbon black BMW E46 M3 Coupe manual gearbox used car with red leather cheap HPI clear from BCA british used car auctions. The BMW E46 M3 was available as a coupe and a convertible cabriolet and was also available with a single clutch semi-automatic gearbox. This car is a facelift car with some nice spec options.

Can’t believe the prices these are going for. My dad had one brand new in 2003, gun metal grey with red leather interior. Paid almost 50k for it with its options and sold it 3 years later for 30k. Sounds like it would be worth about that now 😂

Know where your coming from … grew up around Sierra and Escort Cosworths .. when I got to driving age cars were cheap but omg insurance was through the roof . Now I could afford to insure one the prices are mental .. Keep it as treat for your hard work Calvin man before they become absolutely mental prices like the E30s 👍🏻👍🏻

I can’t help loving the E 46 M3. I love the colour combination with the black paint red leather. I am currently in the process of buying an F36 BMW 420 gran coupe In dark grey with red leather. And there was me saying I’d never buy a BMW. But it was the colour combination that grabbed me🤷🏻‍♂️😎

I've got a 2002 smg cabrio. As a toy it offers as much as a manual coupe, but different obvs, but much better value. Munich Legends are getting it where I want it to be but for now it's still awesome

Ah man brings back some fond memories - had an identical spec to this 9 years ago but with the HK, around 60k miles and the boot floor replaced by BMW. Regret selling that for 9k back then.... be worth a pretty penny now haha *head in hands*

Lots of love for these, i miss mine still, had a 2003 vert paid £12,500 in 2011 and sold it 2021 for £18,500. Great cars. 👍🏻

The oil might look good but that trim laced with coolant shows the water pump is on its last legs... Other stuff that would put me off, peeling rear headlining, car used with no floor mats, dust and dirt layered throughout the centre console. Looks like new discs and good tyres though so there is that but that's counter to the lack of interior upkeep which is a little odd.

£18k on a punt, hope all the 3 big jobs have been done. A buyer who knows these cars will be looking for them if you’ll be asking circa of £20k+ Sold my Phoenix yellow vert last year for £11k 🤦‍♂️ Contrary to what people think I personally don’t think these are a good investment, running/maintenance costs outweigh any increase in price unfortunately. Great cars though, wish I still had mine 😫😔

I know someone who has one , same spec, apparently only two in the U.K in this spec, and only ten six speed carbon black, imola red leather in Europe, so think twice about selling it !!

Matts was in a crash, and evils was the cheapest in the country at less than 10k, you pay for what you get, this car being one owner, then that 1 owner has clearly loved it too keep it so long and still be as clean as it is

I’ve owned a manual silver grey e46 m3 for a long time now, glad to hear people say prices are on the rise, personally I don’t check for sales much but the internet goes in hard on these cars, “big jobs” and so on. Noticed there is no green tint on the top of the front screen ? Only reason I say it say it as mine didn’t when I bought it and had a hard time getting one fitted, but I’ve heard debates saying some didn’t have it from factory?

Calvin it is a free option. When they were facelifted in 2003, you couldn’t get the smaller 18s anymore, just the 19s 👍🏻

I like the looks but not that bothered about the power . Had a 05 E46 M coupe for nearly 6 years it's a looker and the six pot sounds fab and it's got about half the power but is fab to drive , although it's a pain in the a8se in town compared to say a Qashqai !!. Downside is my wife won't get in it and its days are numbered as I have a replacement grown up car .

Damn I love Oxford Green, my e36 was that colour with matching leather interior but unfortunately it got rusty and was only a 318 so I didn't bother keeping it. I can polish Oxford green all day though it looks amazing!!!
