I Bought A Massive QVC Hoarder Lot To Sell On eBay | Unboxing Part 1 

Imagine the thousands of piles just like this all over the country. I had a friend who passed some years ago and she had one. You could hardly get through her house and a lot of them were unopened.

I was a qvc shopper since 1995. I recently stopped after they laid off their senior hosts Dan Hughes and Carolyn Gracie in favor of some giggly unprofessional young ones

OMG! You definitely did well with that haul! What I find sad is that the items were bought and never used. Obviously, the woman killed time by buying stuff from QVC, and I know that their presenters do a good job of making every item something you can’t do without, but it’s sad that she (and no doubt, loads of other people as well) bought stuff that they never used. Hopefully, they will now find a home where they will be used. It just makes me feel sad.

In 1993 after my Dad passed, my mom went on a daily QVC shopping spree. She woul send back most of the things she bought, except all the jewelry and quilts. It made her happy and now it make me happy now that she is up in heaven 💔🙏♥️

It made me a little sad. The lady that bought all these things seems to had been lonely, filling up a void with “stuff.” That’s just me, I always tend to overthink.🤷🏻‍♀️

This lady who purchased all that stuff I can truly understand why. I can only assume she was lonely and maybe even depressed. Watching the hosts on QVC can make you feel as they were either your friends or family. A fantasy life that if you have these items you also can be happy and be surrounded with great friends and family. 😢 You got a lot of great stuff at a great price. I hope you do well reselling. I have been watching QVC since the first month they were on in the 80s. I had an operation on my hand and my job made me stay home for a month and I channel surfed. I have had periods over the years where I buy a lot. All of my Christmas shopping for about 10 years was only QVC. And you can return anything, no questions asked. Great company. ❤

I kew someone years ago who’s mother had an addiction like this. Her kids kept bailing her out of financial difficulties and destroyed their own lives when they lost their home over it, but it didn’t stop her. Very sad.

Tina, I am THE QVC QUEEN. I have a hundred or more boxes I have to open yet.YES as much as I hate to admit it I am a hoarder too. I have been buying from QVC since 1993. I have slowed way down but every once in awhile I find something I want. Anyway those microfiber towels are for cleaning like mirrors,TV computer screens windows and whatever else you want to clean. Does wonders on stainless steel also. I just wanted to share that.

It’s sad the lady never used and enjoyed all her treasures. I love Clark shoes. Wow! My size too.

If the first character of the QVC code is K, it's kitchen, J is jewelry, H is holiday and so on. Codes are usually on the box and invoice. That mixer was worth the price of admission.

I am a mega QVC shopper and I have those foot scrubbies… you put them over your shoes and walk around your floor for dusting. I also have put them on my swiffer mop. I love them and yes they come with 2 per color … one for each foot. I also gave as gifts and the recipients loved them.

I have been a reseller since the inception of eBay in 1995, so 28 years now, and I have never in my life seen such a good haul!! You are going to make a killing!!!

My husband and I spent a fun rainy day shopping QVC. It was a one time only but fun. I can see how a person can really get hooked into the whole thing.

those shoe cover things to help clean the house is brilliant if I lived alone I would use them but then again if I lived alone I would have no need for them since I take my shoes off before entering my house ... everyone nope .

I've gone to the QVC outlet store down in Malvern Pa. Watching this made me feel like I was walking through the store. LOL it always has a bunch of the kitchen stuff, bedding & candles

I know of someone who went through her and her husband's retirement shopping at QVC. She used to have many of the pieces delivered to her daughter's house. It's not QVC's fault, she had a very serious problem. Last I heard, she had to go back to work.

My husband was on QVC selling Drill Tills a few times and I went with once. That place is huge and there’s just stuff laying everywhere.

The tool is a Mouse sander. I use mine all the time. They're great! Loved this video and can't wait for the next one. So much fun.

Amazing buy! If you search the numbers on the items they usually start with a letter sometimes it will pop up the old qvc ad for that item

My aunt passed and she had a bunch of QVC items ever opened any of them my mom took them and she had a huge sale it’s been over 18 years but it was something to see she couldn’t drive so she sit and bought a lot. She was a sweet lady.

I should be there sitting next to you describing all the QVC things! Recognize most of them - and you got an unbelievable deal for $800. Lots of top quality items. As far as packing - I've been a customer for 25 yrs and never got a broken item. Slatkin used to make all the Bath and Body works candles . He is the #1 candle scent guy in the world.

Fun! I went to an Estate sale a few years ago where the lady had purchased this second house just to house her QVC purchases. First house was already full I guess. I remember I got a faux fur blanket and some bottle brush trees. She had a ton of clothes too! Good luck with your listing. Hope you're a good organizer!

I’m trying to wrap my head around the shopping addiction that would have someone buy things like a vacuum and mixer and never open them. Great haul for $800, but the family must be challenged to pack and sort all the stuff she did open and store in her house.

I had an Aunt who shopped like this and when she died there were boxes of things unopened everywhere. When you film the next part please aim camera lower towards your lap so we can see you open the boxes. We miss that part and can’t see what you have until you raise them up.

Don't discount items without some research, just because you aren't interested in them. I see this on videos with people who buy pallets or storage units all the time. One guy sold a piece of Waterford crystal for $1.00 at the flea market because he didn't like to mess with glassware and didn't see the value. Those window candle decorations are a good example, especially if they have timers. .

Laughing as you open the shoe cover cleaners . . . I have those and they're the best. I put them on my feet and dance-clean the floors and they also fit on Swiffers. Microfiber is great.

So I bought the easy clean footsies and gave them out for Christmas one year. 😂 My thinking behind it was to wear them when I mop the floors but I don’t just wear them to clean my floors. Lol.

I worked at QVC 1st at the big warehouse in West Chester, PA. I loved it! I worked the 4:30pm- 12:30, after the TSV from Sunday- Thursday. You didn't have to dress up. I got 30% off all items. Then they opened "Studio Park" which I was picked to worked at. I met so many celebrities! Marie Osmond gave me a red rose. She was very kind, & Beautiful! I met Joan Rivers, Charlton Heston, "Bobby Sherman", Richard Simmons, and many more! Many employee separate stores, (jewelry, denim & company clothes) I, didn't, very well)they got rid of items to make room for new items. QVC was a great place to work. I worked there from 1996-1999, my car broke down. Not, an easy fix. Therefore, I lost my job. The opening night of "Studio Park" we had a gigantic party! Champagne and all! We all were dressed to nines! I had a black dress & black stockings and 5" pointed patent heels on. Running up the stairs.....easy, now at 67, I can't do stairs! I'm scared to death.... I wish you would have opened the Kitchen Aide mixer! I'm on a list of a high rise for seniors, its been a year in 4/22. They have Studio or 1 bedroom apts. I'm "Hoping" for the "1" bedroom. The thing is, must, start all over again. From furniture, to salt & pepper, basically, everything! I have a set of Fiestaware, Large plate, smaller plate, saucer & cup, juice cups. I need a lot, of things! I always wanted a kitchen aide mixer! But, I need it for a decent price. I'm on Social Security and if you ever come across one PLEASE, KEEP ME IN MIND?? IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED! OF COURSE, I WOULD PAY FOR SHIPPING. I JUST NEED IT TO BE COMPLETE/WORK & SOLD CHEAP. PLEASE? I need a vacuum cleaner, ironing board and an iron! My mum bought me a Rowenta iron from QVC and the man I've been with for 22 years, threw my baby pictures out, pics of my son when he was a newborn with my mum holding him, at my in -laws. He gets drunk, and does things, either, not thinking or spite. I believe, he saw the big Manila envelope (didn't bother looking and threw it away) I have nothing, of my past. I had at least, "2" dozen candles, in little glass containers....gone! He has no Empathy!! I'm angry, that I'm in this situation at this age and my health. If, I'm lucky and get that call, saying that there is a "1" bedroom available, I will be thrilled! The man I'm living with,🤞🤞 said he would buy everything need. Wow! Those boxes from QVC the blue ones, are old! I loved the "'Boyd's Bears" on year I put up a 4 foot tree. It was Gorgeous! I wrapped "Every" limb in Lights, I had smaller glass balls for that tree.(now, when it came to Xmas, everything, had a place) I was ill, so "he" took the tree down. I had ornaments that were "irreplaceable" I will never find them. I have tree, with the lights still on, but not "1" ornament. Boyd's bears, plastic different color balloons, icicles, stars, my mum made, a bell set, had 3 bells, when someone brushed by it, they would ring, I had at least "4" Hallmark musical ornaments! My favorite was the Carousel! I always, placed in front, the song was pretty. He lost, all of the ornaments, if I, would have I put away, I would have put them balls back in the box, the Boyd' Bears, also. The "3" bells, I wrapped in a paper Towel would get broken. Like I said, Everything, had it's place. I had for years! Perfect shape and size! He, took many things from me! I know I recently saw that Rowenta iron. Then POOF! Gone! Most likely he gave to son for his wife. Theirs, probably probably broke and he said Sharon has one, she doesn't use. He should, have asked me! I obviously would have said, NO! My mum bought me that, was on sale for $148.00. I loved that iron! My ironing board was perfect. But I didn't bring it. Now on Amazon, they are over hundreds of dollars w/o the Teflon cover w/padding. I'm disappointed. I will be so glad to have my own place! I need a microwave with stand to! I'm really scared!!! I love, candles! I will be able to use candles, again and perfume! I will probably be able to get candles at the Goodwill and nik-naks! I've wanted a Kitchen Aide mixer for so long!! I don't even care, what color! (Light blue, or Pink) my favorite, but, if it came with all the bowls, wisks, bread wisks) I, would be thrilled! I can't afford $300-400$! I'm on Social Security, no partner to help me. I would rather be, just me and my cat. I will need bedding, whether he will get me a double or queen size bed. You take out of box it comes in, but you don't show? Every other person I've seen doing openings, at least Show It! I wanted to see of course the "Blanco" or "White" Kitchen Aide mixer the Lenox Santa! I just found you, because it said QVC I had, to watch, but, disappointed....

Read all packing slips cuz QVC always lists the items and prices on their packing slips. Also the barcodes usually have descriptors as well.

Great buy! We bought an abandoned storage unit a few years ago, and ended up with about 50 QVC boxes unopened. A lot of Northern Nights, and Valerie Parr Hill items, and we mad a ton on those items. You are going to do awesome. Looking forward to the next unboxing…

Wow! That is a lot of stuff! But it all looks to be in fantastic condition. Even new things can get damaged if left to pile up like that, but so far so good with this haul. As someone who tend to loathe shipping larger items, my favorite aspect of this is that so many of these items are already in shipping boxes, and for the most part, already packaged well enough for you to just tape up the box and reship it once it sells.
