That Wentworth is probably worth a few thousand US dollars. Not only is he a well known artist, but especially considering the subject of the drawing; it’s a an original drawing of the famous American naturalist and author John “Jack” London, who wrote The Call Of The Wild and White Fang. It’s a great find. Also, some vintage electronics, like that SonyWalkman, are highly collectible now. People will pay money, sometimes a lot of money, for nostalgia of their youth. It’s why the vintage cassette tape collecting market is so hot right now. But tape players are not widely made anymore; so you can’t listen to those cassettes UNLESS you have vintage electronics to play them through. If only people were selling vintage Walkmans🤔😂

Loved the recap...but you forgot to mention the drawing by Cedric Wentworth. The bronze statue is near the waterfront in Oakland. Probably not worth much, but could be. The value in it would be related to the subject of the drawing, author Jack London and the fact that it is by the artist that created the bronze statue.

The original art for was used as a book cover...I think it was a best seller too??? Its worth some bucks to the right person! Go through the photo albums, as people used to put money in those behind pictures & in books, especially Bibles. Definitely worth doing some homework on some of these things!

Happy to see the recap and prior owner profile back at the end of the video; it makes your channel stand out from the other storage buyer channels. Nice to see everyone looking healthy and happy once again. Ignore the haters, there are a lot of miserable people in the world; I do tech support for a major internet provider and get a lot of crap from people who tell me I don't know what I'm doing and I'm stupid, but I remind myself they called me, I didn't call them, so that's job security. Your small Vienna sausage dish (I’m still laughing my cheeks hurt) 😂😅🤣😆 is an antique incense plate or even depending where in the world it came from and era possibly an ashtray used at opium dens. My mother in law had a handful of them and when we inherited stuff after she passed I took a crash course in antiques

Re the need for a sun blocking curtain, go to a store that sells curtain rods. If no holes are allowed there is a kind that is referred to a tension rods. Ask an employee, add a sun blocking cloth and tadaaaa! It will also keep out the heat😎

Interesting unit. Glad you're feeling better. Just wanted to give you a head ups. Not sure where in California you are located, but California is on ALERT re: the earthquakes in Searle Valley. There are several swarming earthquakes all located around several volcanoes. Mt. HOOD, MT. St. HELENS, MT. RAINIER. and also Alaska. Please stay alert. The threat is very real. Be safe, much love. @@michellemack6640 - I was thinking the same thing. I have one that belonged to my grandmother who died in 1954. It was handpainted by her and I treasure it. I adored her and she died when I was 7 from cancer. Mom used to cut the crust off sandwiches and cut them in little squares or triangles and serve them on the tiered plates. We'd have a tea party. Happy memories!

The things that appear to be silver may EPNS or Electro Plated Nickel Silver. Obviously not real silver but plated. Don't clean them too hard or you may take the silver plating off them.

It is not a sketch of Jack London, it is a sketch used for a book or short story... I'm literally digging through all my books to place it, I have been a fan since I was in 3rd grade..own almost every story.

I have that exact bible on my bookshelf right now. It’s got a section to fill out family tree and important family history events. My family isn’t religious but we still had this bible, a lot of families did. It was a popular wedding gift in the 60s and 70s.

Some of that crystal and glassware is definitely worth reasonable dollars..princess house is selling for more than what I paid for it over 20 years ago......that pretty glass vase Amber held up looks like Krosno? If actually looks like a wine carafe......that heavy vase sounded like crystal when Amber put in back.......( probably wedding gifts like the silver stuff earlier )

Buyers look for the Tiffany boxes to put their Tiffany items in - a lot of times people buy stuff used and they don't come with the original box and they want to display it that way so they buy empty boxes. :)

Some millionaires have wives that are neat freaks so they get a storage unit to reduce clutter and they end up forgetting about it and that's how they lose it just forget caring about the stuff

The unit payment could simply be overlooked. I worked in a bank years ago and wealthy people had a sense of entitlement and often didn't pay their mortgages or safe deposit box payments. We had to sent notices to them frequently.

A net worth of over a million dollars is NOT that uncommon. Most home owners in southern california have 3/4 million dollar homes. That's barely middle class in certain parts of the country.
