I bought a motorcycle lift table!  

Great pickup! Love mine. You can add wings for cheap. 2x8 boards and 1” pipe. Easy peasy

Just frame the plate in 1/4 square stock . Underside. Wheel chock is a must. I made some 4’x 10”x8” benches that I put on each side when running my wing up by myself, makes it easier to get on/off.

Great purchase in my opinion. I’ve always had to sit or lay on the ground when servicing my bikes. I finally bought one of these lifts and I love it. I have made no mods to mine. I walk the bike up on the lift alone and strap it down, no issues. Once the bike is lifted, I rest the table on the rod as soon as possible. I feel like the two biggest negative reviews about the width of the table and the seals blowing out of the jack are based on expecting these lifts to be pro grade when they are actually built for the home shop guy like ourselves. When used as designed they need nothing. Has been a game changer in my life.

Hi Ken, I bought mine 3 weeks ago, and like you, that back plate leaves a lot to desire. Also put the exact same wheel chock on it and I have an Ultra Limited and am having trouble getting the front wheel out of the chock. I did add some side extensions for just loading, and unloading to keep it balanced. I am toying with the idea of grabbing me of the HF pneumatic 8 ton jacks in place of the hydraulic. Great economical unit. Getting a good wheel stop for the front is a must for anything bigger than a sportster. Recently off Amazon, I got a $69 VIVOHOME Steel Motorcycle ATV Scissor Lift that I use with the lift sometimes. Very handy. I use my drill with a socket on it to run it up and down.

Hi Ken, just come across your channel and subscribed.. I have the same wheel chock and think it works great! I don’t have a lift but am thinking of doing the same as what you did when I purchase the lift!!

Lift Tables are nice even for detailing the Bike.

Oh, I suggest putting grip tape on the lift. It could come in handy if your tire is greasy or wet

I have like that ... I really like mine and works good and really helps when working on the bikes

Tying it down from the crash bar isnt as secure as your lower fork assembly at the fender mount.

Put a 7/8 unistrut under the plate make where it can be removed. Center it under you back tire
