Congrats, pal! I know you’ve been saying for years in your videos that you were going to buy a 911. I wasn’t expecting the GT3T, but you deserve this! Glad you stick to your word and paid cash as well. The Gentian Blue is my favorite color on the standard palette, and the cognac interior is perfect. I’ve spent countless hours on the GT3 configurator and my dream GT3 is PTS Malachite Green over Cognac. Congrats again, MotoMan, well deserved!

Love your content and hope to see this channel growing because this is one of the few car review channels that I watch religiously. Three years was a long time, but totally worth the wait! Now that is one very happy MotoMan basking in the glory/ disbelief of finally owning a Porsche. We all have our favourites, no right answers, etc but for what it's worth, the GT3 Touring has been my personal fav since it's introduction in the 991.2. Superb choice Sir and wishing you many trouble free miles in her!

Congrats! Your patience really enabled you to get a fabulous car. Guess timing is everything! Based on one of your reviews from a few years back, my wife and I found an allocation - something we weren’t even aware we needed, and were able to order a 2018 Targa 4S, which we love. Not a GT3, but still a great ride. I will look forward to your future reviews to hear more about your enjoyment, but especially your teaser re the seats. I know there may be features that I’m unaware of, but have a difficult time thinking they could be as comfortable as the 18 way seats and I definitely wouldn’t want to give up our heating and cooling option, either. Great choice!!

I totally get what he is saying but the other side of the coin is you only live once. Finance can work if you have no other means; it's at least a better step than gambling, spending hundreds of dollars a night clubbing, drugs, smoking, etc. Just do it at a comfortable level and know that you will be paying a lot of interest, unless you can pay it down fast.

You had lots of patience to wait so long for this absolutely stunning car. First came Covid, then in 2022 the freighter "Felicity Ace" sunk and thousands of Porsches on delivery to the US went down the ocean. I am from Germany and had to wait incredible 16 month for my 718 Cayman which I ordered around this time.

The red interior bits tie into the red brakes. It’s a way to make it look more special to the person who specs it. A lot of Porsches all look the same so this makes it personal. I happen to love everything about the spec

@@Huub1e for me the red is too much especially with cognac color, but I get your point, it is a unique look. I would however 100% change the wheels to standard silver color and take out the blue bits from the interior.

So many ppl spec bronze our gold wheels with colored calipers and it looks awful. Lots of time, less is more. The red bits on the interior is also way too busy with this spec.

I love your spec, except for the bucket seats. They look super cool, but they're absurdly difficult to get in and out of, especially for an older guy with a bad back like me. The 18-way sport seats would be my pick. Porsche's options pricing is downright eye watering, but this is an amazing GT3 Touring specification.

Congratulations George! I don’t know how you kept this a secret for three years! I am a bit surprised you didn’t get the GTS Targa but I know that you wanted a manual and not a PDK so I think this fits the bill perfectly. I think your most important message was at the end when you made clear to everyone that you wrote a check for this magnificent vehicle and didn’t finance or lease it. I can’t wait to see your follow up videos on this car. The next time I’m in SoCal I’m calling Kumo to come pick me up and take me for a ride in the canyons.😅

Regarding your comment on debt. I never met my grandfather he died in 1938 but my Mother told me he said there are three things you can borrow money for: pay doctor’s bills, education or to buy a house. He had one of the first cars in the county to replace a team of horses. I doubt he borrowed money to pay for it. I have borrowed money to buy a house but that is it. It worked for me.

Well after 20 years on RU-vid I’m finally able to make comments and YOU get my first comment ! I subscribed to your channel in December of 2009 and have enjoyed it very much. I loved that you bought a Lexus LC for I worked for Lexus dealers for over 20 years now and have owned 5 and know that they are one of the best cars made. We have similar tastes in cars and noticed that many of the LFA’s were spec’s out with black interiors but you had as many selections as you did with Porsche. You’ve made a beautiful automobile with your selections, my hat off to you !

Congratulations! I have also recently taken delivery of a GT3 with Touring Package. I however selected the Python Green with the Satin Neodyme Wheels. Gentian Blue was my second choice with the Satin Neodyme wheels.
