Hey Ya'll! Today I'm showing you my portable sink that I purchased brand new from EBay! My treatment room is within an office building so I didn't have a sink in my room.

Try putting something styrofoam or something under it, that's just the vibration that's making that loud noise.

I bought one as well to get a shop license in NJ, and it passed. I no longer need mine and was selling it, but was just wondering if the noise was normal when the water is running, and I guess it is, cause mine does it as well.

I wish I could send this message privately…but I wanted to ask…does your state require you to have a sink in your room before they approved you for your shop license? I just got an office suite too and there’s no sink in there. I’m an esthetician and would like the Convenience of having a sink in my room

Hi, they only required that my room be within a certain amount of feet from a sink. It didn't have to be in my room, this was more so for convenience.

Are the pipes underneath plastic? Im wondering if I’m to use this as a hairstylist and colorist if the pipes would get clogged due to the bleach and chemicals.

It’s a high quality plastic that can withstand hot temperatures. I think I’ve seen cosmetology portable sinks with the wash bowl, but i can’t remember where!

Well it varies by state. But my state only requires you to be within a certain amount of feet from a sink (bathroom sink included. ) so it wasn’t required to have a sink in my actual room.

@@LifeAsTara_ I think I found it on Amazon but it has a few bad reviews that concerns me. Once in particular a customer claimed his / hers caught on fire ( the pump did). I will continue to look.

I'm am esty myself and I've been looking into these to for months but the bad thing is that it makes a lot of noise so that discourages me from buy one. Unless I can find one that doesn't make loud noise.

some brands say to turn on all faucets at same time if not use for more than 5 hours.. if it's in a household without a sink, will be hard to keep track if not used for more than 5 hours

To change the faucet you will need to follow a process before do it, if not you will do a mess.

Yes, this was just for my convenience. My state board does not require sinks in the rooms as long as the room is within a certain amount of feet of a sink.

@@LifeAsTara_ okay great! I’m in Georgia and I’m a nail tech and esthetician. I have a sink down the hall in a bathroom but in GA they require nail salons to have a sink that’s not the bathroom 😂😂😂
