Not really he was getting sold a broken product that they were asking too much for, if you can't get someone to lower a price on a product that isn't 100% functional just save the money for a brand new one or go to a game store if you can only afford used buying from a personal seller is always too risky you never know if it's a scam
If I need a repair of 250usd I would definitely buy the materials and learn to do by myself, this way it would be cheaper and I would gain knowledge for any new problems that might happen in the future
There’s no way in hell that either me or that dude is risking losing a game console because we want to cheap out by experimenting and doing a DIY fix. It’s another thing if you learn it separately or already have the skill but otherwise? Completely fair price.
@@zenmashhdude 250$ is not a fair price the parts cost is probably 20$ or something like that if you know a little bit of soldering you can save your self 230$ whic in my country this means 6900tl and you just saved yours self half of a turkish salary.(if the board is damaged and you dont know what you doing than thats a diffrent story go to a repair shop and let them do it because its real pain in the arse at this point.)
hdmi ports are typically £2-5 on AliExpress. The rest is for labour costs. Don't be fooled though this needs a certain level of experience to do and is definitely not a task for an amateur.
@@UselessAngel21You’re paying for the labor & knowledge as well as the part. No repair is going to cost the same as buying the parts, it simply isn’t profitable. Then again, as harsh as it sounds, if you can’t afford the console in the first place and knowingly go for a broken one, then maybe it just wasn’t meant to be.
@@shameeramohamed3827sure but if he only asked for HDMI fix $250 is overkill , but unfortunately we don’t have a full clip of them talking so we will never know.
I'm not an electrician but replacing the HDMI port shouldn't cost over 50 cents. Ofc most people don't have a soldering station sitting around but it's pretty easy to swap out
