Man, I think that was the saddest one you've gotten. It's disconcerting how the diary just stops. It wouldn't be impossible for her to still be alive today, but I guess the diary being sold probably means she's no longer with us. Many, MANY compliments to her effort, hard work, care, and her purple outfit!
Poor lady. I haven't gotten through the whole video yet, but I was at at Hanson concert at the mall! 😆 so funny. I hope her situation got better after this diary.
Also, my estranged father was exactly the same person that you described of the husband in the journal. My father never spend time with me and mom and didn't even give a crap about caring for us. Later he started a relationship with a really abusive person and things got downhill, and he got so extremely abusive I had to throw him out of the house before moving across the country so he could never find me again.
I wish I still had mine. I would send it to you haha. I thought I was attracted to my cousin who turned out not to be related to me at all 😂. He was my aunts husband's side of the family but we saw them all the time. 😅
I think if I asked for journals people would send fake ones, which could still be interesting, and maybe how genuine a journal is doesn't actually matter but for now I try to obtain journals that I can guarantee weren't faked.
The back of the diary is labeled 1992 by the manufacturer. Paper goods hold up pretty well if they're well preserved. The letters I recently posted about from the 1920s don't even look very old and they're 100 years old! But also, the 90s weren't THAT long ago.
Wait. Did I interpret this correctly? Her husband only complimented her after she wore a pant suit. In my opinion clothing don’t have a gender, but during this timeframe, people put a lot of emphasis on it. He complimented her when she wore something “masculine.” 🤔 I feel so bad for the both of them.
