New subscriber. You’re the perfect person to hear from for me. 1) John Hicks is an awesome e-bike-Tuber, dude puts the product to task. 2) All the e-bikes that you have the joy of owning/riding, are on my must cop list. 3) You’re more advanced & drive on more types of terrain, but a good mix. I like that because it’s real-world application, versus all extreme, all the time. I’ve always been apprehensive of "e" anything & warranted because look at the progression & flood (good & bad) of all things "e". Less than a week ago, I was comparing a Revv1 moped style w/pedals, pretending to be a pedal bike (long story), to pegs & a dirt bike silhouette, to 2-in-1’s, to legit e-cycles. Point is there’s no best of all times or best, there’s only what you like/need, can afford & what’s killing the game for you right now. We’re in an e-volution, like a real-time battle of Apple/Android, Coke/Pepsi, but with improvements & new bikes popping up each week. We’re in a golden age/year…it’s only a matter of time before the laws start limiting & taxing the fun/limitless possibilities with these products. Until then, we better enjoy this! Anyhow, thanks for sharing & looking forward to seeing/hearing more of your content. I know you asked for recommendations, here’s some specific others. Interview your bike shop/owner Do a collection video Do any combination of comparison videos (you have the arsenal) Note: The mic & video are great on my end; however, I’m not an active RU-vidr. Again, Cheers & looking forward to more videos! Enjoy in great health.
From a fast trail rider...18/21 wakes up the handling, 100% necessary for trails. Grips, levers and pegs got upgraded. Stock shock spring 450lbs is good up to 150 rider weight so I swapped to 500lb, no other issues with rear shock on trails. Fork will be revalved this winter for better hard hit action. And a 50t chain ring, roller chain and D mode gets me 40 mile range riding aggressively. My new favorite bike and I'm keeping my lite bee too!
@@IrelandBikeshow did you solve that the height is different between front wheel and rear wheel after upgrading your tires,i just find in21/18 setup the front wheel will higher 2.8cm than real wheel if I use tires like 80/100-21 and 100/90-18 , 😂is it a big deal?
I've been wanting to get one so bad. I'm a mouintain biker and currently have an EMTB. I just bought a $10k Specialized Turbo Levo and dumped about $3k in upgrades in the past few months. Now I gotta save up for this bike. But I also need to get my wife a light Bee as well as all the gear including a trailer to take them to the trails. I need to find a cheaper hobby.
I wonder a lot about the range these things have. I am torn between this one and an ICE dirtbike. The pain point is the range and MX performance that's lacking on the Ultra Bee vs. an ICE 125T or 250F.
Hey new subscriber btw, I have a question I am looking to get an ultra bee but I want one with the indicators and number plate are do all of them come with it or is it a separate model
Hey SUB Buddy...have a good ride when ever u have a ride...cheers* i want to know about something about the Battery Upgrad to 76AH what is a legale and expensive range tuning option...
I am thinking about buying the Ultra Bee next year. How do you justify riding the bike around like its a mountain bike? You do realise its actually the equivalent of a dirtbike and needs to be registered and insured. Just because its quiet you can't ride it on footpaths, bridleways and the park. I am fully sympathetic but do wonder where we draw the line.
wow if Eco can hit near 60Kph den il use it often daily, commuting to work back and forth for 7km a day den il prolly charge the battery once a month 😍😁
I want to pull the trigger on but i'm not too sure if I want that one or the storm bee. How tall are you? I am 6 foot. I just don't want it to be too small for me
@@IrelandBikes I mean daily usage as riding to gym or work etc. I have two 125, 2 strokes road ish bikes for summer just wondering which would be better for road riding in rain at times? Ultra Bee does look good for enduro etc.
@@IrelandBikes On my SurRon LBX it is about 50-55 km (i ride quite fast). Do you think Ultra is any better? I really enjoy my Surron, but the only downside is range.. Going to buy bigger battery.
It's not road legal and is less upgradable. Those are the reason I wouldn't want this over a light bee. Also I find it hard to believe that it's better than a fully upgraded light bee considering all of the parts on a fully upgraded light bee are replaced with the best of those parts so if this doesn't come with like a 72vbattery at least I can't seeing it even coming close to a fully upgraded light bee but just that alone obviously still wouldn't make it batter.
@@jasper_of_puppets I mean you're not wrong but all of my points were valid. Also I wouldn't want an ultra bee when my light bee is already heavier than I expected
