I like you unboxing in the warehouse, because Grandma Ventures and Mrs Ventures gets to participate more in the unboxing and it looks more like a family business.

You are right, times have changed. My dad would be at the tractor pull. Mom ran the cake walk or volunteered at the food stand. And my brothers and I could just enjoy the fair and meet our friends. I do miss those times and wish it were the same for kids now. Simple times and good clean fun.
I think lighting is better and presentation is nicer and it’s much nicer for Grandma to be in somewhere climate controlled. For that matter, everyone loves air conditioning and you both have more fun bantering together when you’re in the warehouse. Have a great weekend.

Grandma I agree about the safety we had when we were growing up. I’m a little older but I remember all the white or chocolate milk you could drink for 10 cents.
Susan Janowski shoot when I was a kid I would play in the weeds taller than my head and go into abandoned summer houses we had no fear. I would even ride my bike for miles. Yah those indeed were the days and on a hot summer day nothing tasted better than an ice cream cone from the dairy mart in town.
Love that you have cut the tape on the boxes for G.Ventures, I was always afraid she would cut herself. Like the warehouse opening..better light, and easier on each other..from NC WATCHER !
Okay I want the unboxing at the warehouse. Why? Because you save time by carrying the boxes directly from the unit to your truck. It also saves your back . At the warehouse I want grandma ventures to cut open the boxes. Already cut open loses a lot of the surprise . Set a egg timer for 30 minutes. Hour videos are to long . Give a date of when the unit was bought and break it down into however many 30 minute videos are needed . Carrying the boxes directly from unit to truck will give you more time with family and that’s really what life’s all about.
I prefer the warehouse but I enjoy you guys no matter where you are !! My dad gave that very same kind of globe when I was 11, I’m 71 now. I wanted a paint by number but that globe came in handy later on !
Spinning the globe and landing on Mongolia made me chuckle, not a place for me as I don't speak the language lol. I prefer to watch you unboxing in the warehouse, I can see the items you find better and it seems less harried for you too Wade. I have never seen a 7up glass before but then I've not seen many of the things you find in the units. Your face Grandma Ventures when you saw the books on economy was a picture, I was disappointed too, and when the second box was the same I thought give then to be shredded lol. Glasbake by Mckee in the early 20th century, their slogan was from the oven to the refrigerator. In 1951 became Glasbake by Mckee dividion of Thatcher corp. Then in 1961 thatcher sold the Mckee factory to Jeanette Glass. Jeanette Glass pieces are distinguished with a J before the numbers on the bottom. I am pretty sure there is no more Jeanette Glass, Mckee pieces will be vintage and antique, Jeanettes will be vintage. I am pretty sure its not made today, but I would look to be sure. Another old brand you may come across one day is Hazel Atlas, they made simular things.
Great video of course love the coloured glassware here in Australia we are coming out of winter and its starting to heat up don't like the hottest part of summer but what can we do the beaches are beautiful and great to go to for a day out love to Ashley and the boys as nearly every one says stay safe

HI GrandMa Ventures & Wade . The short stubby glass wear, it's called An Old Fashion. they serve a drink by that name in them. Also straight up or on the rocks are served in them. The taller glass wear are referred to a High Ball glasses, they help make the drink named "The Harvey Banger" famous.
I prefer warehouse unboxing, one can see the objects better and see all the objects. Hi Wade, hello Mom, it's great to see you! If I were to buy the stoneware set I would be happy to get the two chipped plates into the bargain. I chip plates and for a family dinner it would be fine, as you say, it’s a set for six.
I took a broken piece of my stoneware and broke it into smaller pieces and set them in plaster. Made a couple trivets that match my dishes for hot pans. Don't throw away the chipped plates, send them with the set
The plain glass wine glasses are the ones they gave away at gas stations with a fill. I recognize the era of the dishes and glassware as being in the 1970's. Not expensive but good utilitarian dishes. Grandma Ventres - the good old days when the parents drank beer and watched the horse/buggy races at the fair, while their children ran amuck all over the fair grounds, driving the fair attendants crazy.
