Yeah, pretty much. I'm guessing from the minimal wear and layer of dust on the body that the guy was just a Subaru fan who bought it, drove it once, then displayed it on a shelf somewhere for 7 years. Its basically new. 😁

Lol! Yeah, the charger is a bit of a relic... it will end up in a box of junk somewhere (or in the garbage). 😆

Ebay is a good place to pick up an RC as long as you are careful. There is always a bit of risk but that's part of the game. You can always have somebody with a lottle more experience look it over before you bid if you are still unsure of what to look for, and a little research goes a long way.

Sometimes you can get a good deal if you know what to look for, I've scored a few good cars for cheap.

Well, if it's still completely stock then I'd replace some electronics. Start with a faster servo for better steering response, then think about a brushless motor and esc to up the power. I would also upgrade the shafts with part# FA007 and the driveshaft with part# FAW051 to help handle the extra power without breakage and balance issues.

@@jayoHobbies Thank you so much! In Italy it is difficult to find #FAW051, can I use the #FAW209 of the Fazer MK2? It has the same size?

I'm going to make a video this weekend about the v1 Fazer and I'll try putting the newer driveshaft in to see how it fits.

I believe I paid like $130 for that car.
