What better time than 2017 to buy a brand new Wii U! Follow me: TWITTER: / eriktuf INSTAGRAM: @erikshaw7 SNAPCHAT: @iamerik FACEBOOK: / erikshawvideos #nintendo #wiiu #nintendoswitch #comedy
except now, the Wii U will drop in price by a whack ton, and actually be worth it for people who can't afford a switch. and couldnt afford a wii u before.
I am disappointed in switch I would like a virtual boy 2.0 so fit breath of the wild make the graphics be all black lines and blocks for things come on Nintendo make it happen
i have the wind waker wii u and i think i'll hang on to it as a trophy on my shelf. then one day i'll die and my grand children/their children will throw it out. man life sucks.
Do Not Pass GO! thats because your a cheapo a cheap skate if you love nintendo a real fan would buy the switch enjoy your breath of the wild on wii u its crap
TheCopperhound84 Well sue me for wanting to squeeze some extra life out of my older console instead of getting the Switch and having it collect dust until Splatoon 2 releases.
The 3DS version doesn't allow you to play peoples maps online though, have to be next to someone that owns it (via LAN) to play another persons map so is very limiting.. the WiiU works well imo (plus you can homebrew it and download games, so I don't regret it ;) )
Although I originally bought the WiiU for Mario maker, probably one of the least played games that I play now though tbh, .. Either way, it isnt really as bad as people say it is, it just didnt sell well
Xenoblades Chronicles X (a 300 hour rpg), Monster Hunter, Bayonetta 2, Wonder 101, Pikman, Donkey Kong, a bunch of great Mario games. I mean it's better than PS4 and Xbox One's list of exclusives. Ps4 has bloodborne and Nioh that's it. Xbox has literally nothing because they've been cancelling all the games that actually look interesting.
Smash 4 is better than Brawl and can be enjoyed about the same as Melee, its single player content is rich, there's less clones than in any other Smash game (except 64) and much more characters than ever. 3D World was amazing. Mario Kart 8 does have a battle mode and is arguably the best in the series. Many third party games have definitive editions on Wii U (Ninja Gaiden 3, Batman Arkham City, Rayman Legends, ZombiU, NFS Most Wanted U, Bayonetta, Deus Ex Human Revolution, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Trine 2, Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, pretty much all indie games because of GamePad features). And you're ignoring 90% of the really good exclusives like W101.
Sunset Overdrive, Rare Replay, and Halo 5. Those are the only games that the Xbox One has over other platforms, because every single one of its other supposed exclusives are on PC as well. Don't buy an Xbox One. It's not worth it.
lol i just bought a wii u today. my thinking is that the only nintendo game i will play is zelda: breath of the wild, and getting a wii u was just a cheaper way of experiencing the game lol
Alex Maier don't waist the console. It has some really really good 1st and second part stuff. Hyrule warriors, 3D world, maker, bayonets 2, DK, Xenoblade chronic old, Tomeyo mirage sessions, wonderful 101, etc etc.
Link Mountaineer getting zda for the wiiu where I live 9th grade is an incontry class where all students do the same test with everything we learned so I might get it if I get like 16/20 or something like that
The wii u, in my opinion, was one of the best consoles, could play so may great games, old and new. Why everyone hated from the announcement, I have no idea.
3DS: OH NO THE NINTENDO SWITCH IS DYING OMG OMG OMG WII: OH GOD HOLD ON I HAVE A FRIEND THAT WORKS AT A HOSPITAL WII U: WIIUWIIUWIIUWIIU WII U: what's up WII? 3DS: NINTENDO SWITCH IS DYING!!! WII U: Oh really that's great! *ARKWARD SILENCE*
at least you can play your Wii U now. The switch is going to be out of stock until 2019 unless you buy from scalpers on eBay for $799.99. nothing wrong with buying a Wii U in 2017. there are lots of good games to be played
RedPillorBluePill I doubt it, these aren't amiibo or NES classic's. They might be hard to get for a month or so but they'd be idiotic to not plan out their stock
I bought the Wii U this year because it was on my list of many things that I wanted to buy. I don't plan on getting the Switch until a year later, so I need something to tide me over lol.
I see no harm in waiting a year, especially if there aren't a lot of launch titles the person wants. I have no job yet so I probably won't be able to buy it anytime soon but I'll probably wait until mid-2018 when there are more games that I want to buy. Heck, I only got the WiiU because I wanted to experience what I'd been missing out while I was stuck with the Wii.
I love my Wii U, that thing is like my child, I’ll never get rid of it. I still have my Wii U, GameCube, 3 ds lites, my new 3ds xl, my switch, my Wii, my n64, my snes, and my psp 2000
Then pair it with a 3ds. Now you have all those games you can play with the wii u and your 3ds for your 3ds games that you can also get for free using fbi to install a cool little shop hint hint
The Wii U would totally be worth getting now.... if not for the fact that it's still being sold for full price. Come on, Nintendo, you offered budget prices for your other consoles! Got my SNES for $99!
I dunno, I feel like with the way technology advances, the components within the Wii U would've been cheaper to produce each and every year. At the very least, I'm pretty sure that graphics cards constantly drop in price every time a new one comes out. And they come out relatively frequently.
Wii u gamepad use a resistive touchscreen those thing must be so expensive to make since no one want that crap anymore and all smartphone use capacitive touchscreen. Like trying to buy ddr 2 ram today :)
It was half a joke to tease about the wii u price :) so late in the console life it should be way cheaper to get one. I got mine at mario kart release and they still sell for the same price.
Davida Arruda because the OG Wii was a lot cheaper compared to the Wii U. I bought my Wii used for 400AED (around 100USD) and it includes the balance board and two Wiimotes, and a used Wii U (that doesn't come with a board) costs 1000AED (maybe 300USD). That's almost as much as a new PS4 that is only bundled with a single controller (1100AED). As my purpose for the Wii was mainly fitness, it was worth the money and if I want better graphics, I have a PC and a PS4 to play on. I could've just bought PS Move for my PS4 but that by itself is expensive, and it doesn't include the games. I could easily softmod a Wii and just pirate games anyway. (I'm a student so what's expensive to me may not be to you)
lets shove down viewers throats that the switch is coming out in march, and god forbid never buy another previous nintendo console, i liked the wii-u and i would buy it again even after the switch launches.
I got my Wii U the Christmas of 2012. I still have it, it works fine, and I love it. I have so many fun games that have brought me and my brother so much joy.
I Bought a Nintendo! (...in 2017) There, fixed it for you, only these people still buy Nintendo products in 2017: 1. Noobs 2. Fanboys/fangirls who are stuck in the past 3. Uninformed parents
And, let me just congratulate you for this video! Nice work! I really wonder how many takes did it take to put it all together! And I really liked your sarcasm! It was on point!
Also Curret popular wii u games: SSB4 Super mario maker Mario kart 8 Zelda series Sonic boom rise of lyric (just kidding) Super mario 3D world Pokken tournament Star fox zero and way more... Meanwhile... CURRER Switch games (at least 1 month from launch): Mario kart 8 Deluxe LOZBOTW 1-2 Switch Jd 2017 and like 2 more Im not saying the switch is a bad system! I'm actually kind of jealous from others who bought it! but now... it doesn't have a decent amount of games... anyways enjoy you switchers! (get what i did there???? -_- nvm...)
They just aren't bursting everything they've got on launch. It hurt WiiU, since it had a lot of games at launch, but basicaly nothing after it. It seems they're just stretching out their release schedule to keep consumers interested.
Had my Wii U since December 24, 2014. It has stuck with me for over 5 and a half years now, but I really only play on my phone, computer, or Xbox One S.
crimzonazoth38 // crim how do you beat the freaking game i'v put 15 hours in to finding all my lost memories so far and i'm not even finished...i got like 16 more to go
Oh, so you finished those side missions? If you didn't, you didn't finish "Zelda botw" I gotta find those memories but those stupid OP guardians are in the way and my Shield is weak. I actually had a dream I had a Hyrule Shield and the Master Sword.
i thought this was going to be a story of you acually bought a wii u in 2017. So i kept ignoring it because it was in my reccomended but i clicked on it and it was this skit, and thats how i found your channel
The Wii U is going to have more good games to play than the switch for the first year. You're not getting anything exclusive for the switch until Super Mario odyssey, whilst Wii U already has splatoon, mk8, super smash bros and will also have BotW. For now, you'll be saving $50, but it won't be a good long term investment, because the switch is going to cannibalise the Wii U's library nearly completely by late 2018 I would say.
I think the gamepad is great on the wii u so well made love you have a screen on your controller.in fact its games are so good on the wii u that nintendo are just bringing out the same game or sequels on switch..This just shows how great the wii u is
+Simone Oconnell It has like 10 good games bro. Besides I've already played through them all many times and won't get any more satisfaction from them. In that sense it's better to sell them to someone and at least let them get some enjoyment.
