I spent so long debating and I bought the shark in January. I LOVE it. I have curly hair and the diffuser is epic but I can also get my hair perfectly straight when I feel like it. I’ve messed around with the curl attachments and the only thing I will say is I wish they were slightly narrower because they definitely drop (but from what I’ve seen- so do the Dyson) all in all I was dubious, but honestly I’m so happy I bought the shark instead of the Dyson. Oh and beware- their advertising is ruthless. Like I’ve bought it. I went in the website maybe twice six months ago and I still get it pushed at me. (Yea I know. Clean my cookies)
As a Mom who never gets to fully enjoy a cup of hot coffee.. that mug seems like a GREAT deal ❤ thank you for making this video, because I did not want to shell out the big bucks for the Ember mug.

Since you asked for questions….my main reason for wanting to buy a personal ice maker like these is because I actively dislike the flavor of refrigerator-made ice. At our house or anyone else’s, the refrigerator-made ice tastes kinda wonky. I LOVE the clean, clear flavor of professional bag ice. I FEEL YOU on this!!! We use distilled water in our Opal ice maker and that makes such a difference. If you bought the dupe and used distilled water, I think it would absolutely would get rid of that "fridge ice" taste!

I bought the same ice maker(mint green) off Amazon and love it! It has saved us so much money from buying bags of ice for coolers. Definitely worth the money💯

Carrie, I feel you on the love of ice cold drinks! It is totally an American thing, but I 100% agree cold drinks taste way better icy cold, including water!
I am admittedly not an ice girlie myself, but my husband is definitely the type of person that very much wants ice in his drinks and we just never have cubes in the freezer. I might need to pick up this for him! Thanks for the review!
As a Dutch person the ice thing is so funny. I know so many people, me included, that always ask for a drink WITHOUT ice. I realllyyy hate ice, too cold, waters it down, too much of a hastle...😂😂😂😂
It hurts our teeth and gives us pain in our stomach 😃 And if we do use ice in summer it's max. 3 peaces in our glass and not a huge bucket of ice with a little coke in it. So much ice will make your drink so watery and tasteless i would think.
I'm American and I'm not big on ice. I have an ice maker in my freezer and I mostly use the ice for ice baths for hard boiled eggs or blanched veggies...or an injury, I have a young child that likes to jump 🦘

omg my family has had that ice machine for our cottage for years and years and i remember my brother and i as kids just always sticking our pinkies into the holes of the ice and eating them like that LOL so this brought me so much joy and memories (we've also had the same ice maker for like probably ten years so the quality IS there when you don't get a broken one LMAO)
My mom just got the ember mug from my dad who was influenced by my brother in- law. The guys are excited about it, but we ladies love using all of our interesting, pretty ceramic mugs. I drink tea to use my pretty mugs ☺️
If you want PIPING hot coffee for hours and hours and hours you should get a yeti tumbler! I LOVE mine (10oz). I use it daily and it was only $20. It might just change your life!!!!

I have a very similar model to the ice maker and I love it. We don't leave it plugged in all the time, we just fill up a ziploc bag once a week and it only takes a few hours. Definitely worth it!
My husband bought me the ion mug a couple years ago, because I’m a mom so I don’t typically get to sit and drink my coffee while it’s hot. 😉 I’ve used it on and off for the last couple years and it works well. When I saw the Ember mug go viral, I was confused because mine was $30 and just as good. Also, there’s a dupe for the Barefoot blankets at Walmart as well. It’s $25 and they come in cream, Grey and even the similar leopard pattern BF has.

I have been using the bullet ice maker for about a year now. I rent, and my refrigerator doesn’t have an ice machine so it’s been great! I got a container for my freezer so I can make a bunch of ice and then turn the machine off.
Love your videos like this 🫶🏼 You should do one where you test two products (expensive & dupe) but don't know which is which (if possible). Maybe have Drew find/pick products and then cover any labels and see what your thoughts are on each before factoring in price. Harder to do, but just a fun idea ☺️

Dude! I bought those WYZE headphones you recommended as a dupe for the Apple ones. I've been on multiple international trips, and they are *chefs kiss* exactly what I needed.
We have great tasting tap water in the Netherlands and can make ice cubes in a bag or covered tray, so it still tastes nice. But...we rarely use that much ice in a drink. Also, we don't carry iced drinks around. It's not really a thing.
The thick fuzzy Costco blanket is my fave idk if they have it by you but it’s been at the front of my Costco for months I have 2 of them cause I love it so much it’s not the one she had in the vid

Not sure if anyone has commented about this already…. But Nordstrom Rack (in person and online) always has certain patterns and colors of the Barefoot Dreams blanket marked way down! I got mine for $49! :)
I have that exact ice maker and here are a few thoughts to share for anyone who might be thinking of buying it: 1. The ice in the machine does melt. So it often sticks together and some pieces end up smaller/thinner especially at the bottom. 2.There is a sensor at the top that let's the machine know if it needs to make more ice. Because the ice melts it stacks up and blocks the sensor making the machine think the ice basket is full when it is actually only half full. So when you wake up in the morning you're only gonna get one glass full of ice.) 3. If you are more than 2 to a household this will not produce enough ice for you. Luckily it's just my husband and I who want ice but when we sit down to eat I find that it only fills two glasses. (This is if you constantly are adjusting the ice through out the day so that the sensor is not being covered.) 4. I find myself having to fill the water tank 1-2 times daily depending on how much we use it. Overall i still enjoy having this machine as we were buying bags of ice from the gas station weekly. But if you're looking to long term use and the ultimate bang for your buck then i would probably suggest spending money for the opal. Especially if you like the nugget/pebble form.
I have the a very similar machine and I love it! I run it for a few hours every like two weeks and fill out a few silicone bags and keep those on the freexzer. I kept forgetting to make the ice so having some ready in the freezer has been game charger
As someone who has owned, not 1, not 2, but 3 of the "cheaper" ice machines, as well as now owning the opal ice maker...yes, the opal is expensive, but you can find it on sale for $450 a few times a year and after 4 years of owning 4 difference ice makers, it feels the most worth it. I got mine on super sale, which is still ridiculously over price. However, my other ice makers from amazon, the "cheaper ones" each lasted a year. Usually about a week after their warranty would end, they'd die. Plus, one of them, the most expensive that actually made nugget ice, was spitting out metal chunks when it started falling apart. So they money I spent on shitty, cheaper, ice makers could have just been saved and put towards the expensive one...
@@qq1651 no😂😂 when the the basket fills up I have to put the ice in a freezer baggie and in the freezer or the ice will melt back into the water and start all over again..I’d say the ice will last about an 45-1 hr with a full basket if u leave it tho
