I realize you are in an area where you have to take what you can get.....but those contractors not only took you for a ride....they made sure to provide the pot holes too....WAY too expensive.
I recommend treating all of the exposed wood on your trailer property with boiled linseed oil. If you want to go dirt cheap with a rustic looking finish, use used motor oil however it WILL attract dust unlike the boiled linseed oil until it finally soaks in deep. Both are insect, water, rot resistant and last for many years.
Wow! So cool seeing the EWU family again. I loved watching all the explore vids back a few years ago. I definitely enjoy the true crime vids and such that got us all through much of the pandemic but stoked to see more of what originally got me into y'all! Huge congrats and good to see your faces after so long!

And I've actually tried to message before seeing of you guys sold off the channel and they were new people running it or what, but I love the crime and mystery stuff in general. I know there was a point where you didn't like how you were getting a lot of attention from the police and other people. But I'm glad to see just how financially well you guys are doing. Glad to see you guys back. Been watching for a long time. Please be careful out there. Sketchy area. Lots of "explorers" and shadey military personel. But over time I think the tresspassers should appear less and less as the place stops looking abandoned after you build it up. I am curious to see what you do with all this property.

I envy the tranquility there honest to God. After more than 48 years in Los Angeles, if money was not an obstacle, that area looks very enticing. Obviously, you put a lot of love into that first place with so much different types of work. The lack of water thing scares me though. Your approach to all of this adding of electrical, structural, water, concrete was really great. The neighbors are going to really love having you out there with all of this objective improvement. My dad’s retired Navy and in the med 90’s he was stationed at Fallon Naval Air Station. We lived in base housing just outside the main gate. You get use to hearing jets flying over all the time

Nice idea. Plant trees that grow high with a lot of foliage. You have water now, irrigate them daily at night. That will help a lot with the high Temps and gives you shade. Good luck Put some strobe lights along with the camera system to imitate a flash from a camera. Trespassers will think that you are taking video and pictures.
