Thanks for watching, if you haven't watched my last storage auction cleanout here it is!: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IiftVbz7KRs.html
Hi Taco - I think EVERY generation had to learn the Recorder ! I'm 69, in England and we all had to learn it. Funnily enough, I still have mine from the 60s. My Grandmother bought it for me, so it's quite prescious to me ! Looks like you more than got your money back there - well done. Thanks for taking us along - take care 🙂
Good morning Taco. This storage unit has some good treasures in it. This unit will get you a good amount of money. I hope that you and Salsa have a wonderful weekend Taco.
I never had to learn the recorder. I’m a 76 and I lived on the west coast. I wasn’t offered any music except choir. $5 well spent. Washing the clothes will make them sell better. If you can wash the donations it would be nice because most places don’t wash clothes they just throw them away. I know it takes money to wash so maybe not. Don’t get discouraged and NEVER give up the dream!!❤️
The Justice brand is a populat kids brand of clothes and accessories. Good storage locker. People look for cheap clothes at yard sale too. Clothes are expensive! Thanks for sharing. God Bless Taco Stacks!❤🎉🎉😊😊🙏💖✝️😊🎈
Saw Rene's $5 storage locker video last night. Cool to see you each get a locker for $5 And as I said on Rene's video, if nothing else, it was $5 towards being able to do another Storage locker video
I had to laugh when you were talking about the recorder. We played them too, and that was in Elementary School, very early 70s! Really nice stuff for $5.00!👍
Hi Taco. Another great storage auction . I love watching storage auctions. Definitely worth $5.00. You have a great eye. Thanks for taking me along and got he fun. Hugs and pets for Salsa. Love ya.
You got your $5 back plus extra Taco! You’re good at picking out storage units! Had to laugh about the toilet paper! Lol. I’m still trying to figure out why toilet paper was the first thing everyone thought they should stock up on! What about food? Lol. Get yourself some rest. Blessings always to you and sweet Salsa! ❤️✝️😊
@@mareebrown-e3n Okay I understand where your priorities are. Me on the other hand …. I was raised on a farm and sometimes we didn’t always have the money for toilet paper & bc we used an outhouse until out inside bathroom was added….. we would use rags or in worse case scenarios, pages from a Sears catalog. My first item would be food & water….then blankets, etc then somewhere down the line toilet paper. ❤️✝️😊
@@bettyfeliciano7322 I actually grew up in Australia on a dairy farm. Mum and Dad had to dig a hole and empty the can when full. This was in the 50's and 60's. After that they had septic tank installed. I remember squares of newspaper hanging from a hook. Also the old phone directories were a welcome addition. Paper was thinner than newsprint.
There were rumors early in the pandemic that covid gave you the trots. Maybe that was an early variant. By the time we figured out it didn't, all the tp was hoarded out!!
Hey Taco..you know this is a bad time of year to try to buy storage lockers. The large crowds are those people that got their tax refund checks and think they are going to strike it rich at the auction. Dont get caught up in the bidding wars with these chuckers..!
My grandson is learning the recorder right now. He is 9. Hopefully good stuff, but even if you sell the clothes for a dollar each you will still be ahead. Those under armor sweats are nice too
I think every generation had to learn the recorder back when they still had music classes in school. It was a cheap for the school to buy instrument that was considered “easy” to learn.
Hi Taco . I think you did great for $5.00 bucks. And yes the records have been around forever. I’m 60 and I had to learn it. Just amazing how many years they’ve been around isn’t it? I think you should make a nice profit off of this . Cloths are not cheap and I think if people can pick up clothes for less than they will. I go to the thrift stores and buy mine. Take care. Enjoy your weekend. PEACE. ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️🥰🥰🥰🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
I don’t understand the alarm system. Why is it in place right at the door like that? Despite understanding that it must provide some sort of protection, I would definitely think twice about renting there because of it.
I don't get it either. Essentially to arm / disarm it you have to type your code in when you enter the building. But if you forget to and you open up your unit it goes off.
I’ll say the same thing as I did on Paper & Moose: I think they go to jail throw the stuff in and then can’t pay. You’ll do great on selling this stuff at the Flea Market.
This was fun . Not feeling so great at the moment. I love you have a great week. Thanks for bringing me along. I think you should check out the legends shirt. I've heard that somewhere. Love you. ❤️😘🤝🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻✌️👶
I am 70 and all 5th graders my age had to learn the recorder. It was the beginning of a process to determine if any of us wanted to learn how to read music, if we wanted to learn to play an instrument, as well as what instrument we were suited for.
crooks and castles is just a street wear brand.. not a bunch of resale on the varsity jackets. They retail $180 and the few on ebay are like $20-$30.. but the shirts seems to all resell 20-30 so if u have any shirts might be worth listing.
I dont get bored with clothing...we have supported ourselves since 2004 reselling womans, kids and mens clothing and shoes. I always so desperateliy want to see tags on your stuff, I see a pattern and KNOW what it is...and what it is worth...and cringe when you roll it up and toss it aside.I would have bid you up on this unit
Grade school in the late 50s and early 60s and we learned music on a flutophone (similar to recorder) as a precursor to playing a regular instrument as part of the Junior High and Senior High band.
Cardi B is the spokesmodel for the NYX makeup brand. Someone might want it for cosmetology practice or art/ craft/ project. You said you did well selling clothes at the flea mkt, so now you have new stock. I save brown paper that comes in pkgs. It's great to stuff shoes and boots with. Newspaper supposedly absorbs odors. Persil is a fantastic laundry soap for removing odors. You did very well for $5.
First thing to do when buying storage lockers is pack the stuff into your vehicle and take it to your own garage or shop and go through it. Doubt stay at the locker facility Here in Canada you cannot go through it like this
That wasn't a bad unit like you said. The cord you found may be for the little tablet you found. Hope you make some good money on the sneakers you found too. See you in the next video.
I am going after my first U-Haul unit, but I am doing it strictly as an online buy. I have the feeling that if I was at an in-person auction I would spend way too much money. I am also doing this as my first time to see if this is something I want to get more into because there is so much more than just buying the unit and it can get expensive. If nothing else there are a lot of homeless shelters that would like clothing items. I drive a trailblazer and do not have an office to work out of. If I get into this more I may get a transit van that has more room that I can get for about $8K and there is an office that is 600 SQFT that has all utilities including WIFI.
nice video enjoyed it,TACO JUST FOUND YOUR CHANNEL like it . I am a metal scrapper too. used to sell at the flea mkt to old now. Totally enjoyed your video.
when you buy a unit why not take two garbage cans and put a trash bag inside and use one for cloths and the second one sort out the trash and put in. It would make the sorting a lot easier,
Are people besides you and Renee creating content from the units sold today? I have gotten a bit hooked on Whatnot and I am amazed at all the unit sellers.
Hey Taco.....Enjoy your videos. As far as the storage units go....You really ought to pull the trigger and spend a few hundred dollars on a unit. Take a chance. Would like you to do this at least just once ??
Check out the recent storage unit auction video I posted prior to this and let me know what you would want me to pay on the other units and if the final prices were worth what they sold for
Lots of comments about having recorders in school back in the days. I'm 69 and for a second I thought, tape recorder? Lol My school didn't have them. So I know nothing about recorders.
Hey I just wanted to point out the 2 dolls you had are the American Girl dolls and those are worth $100++++ so clean those babies up, get them.put together and Boom you have an extra $100 or 2 from 2 dolls in that $5 locker!!! Hope you haven't thrown them out🤦🏼♀️! Happy Lockers all around!!!
The dolls, cleaned up should be worth $5 each. More if they say "Pleasant Company" or "American Girl" on the back of the heads. The cord looks like it goes to the Kindle Fire.
Grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and we had to have a recorder. Montezuma still comes up in my 69 year old head! Love locker units don’t understand them.WHY?
Taco fyi get some baby's drift spray for clothes (baby's section in the stores ) best stuff to get out stains (spray let sit n dry then spray the whole area again then wash ) gotten every stain out for me
I won 3 units last week on the lockerfox site, one for $230, one for $60, and one for $30. I started videoing it, but my friend's mouth shut that down lol Rockhounding, crystal/fossil collecting are my channel's bread & butter anyways, so it wouldnt have clicked anyways...The two higher prices units were pretty much a bust. The 3rd unit they couldn't open the door of when taking pictures, they had to jack it up a little bit with a car jack and the pictures were bad, but I could tell it was filled and a mess. I ad to make arrangements for the owner to cut the entire door off with a sawzallI a week later. hit the jackpot! THOUSAND$ worth... A bunch of Barry Sanders, Aikman, and Emmet Smith jerseys, theater popcorn machine, cotton candy machine, new Nike Air Max's, countless glass crystal....too much to list...Needless to say, I'll be selling at Saylorsburg this year, at least in the beginning(before I start digging my crystal mine in NY).
