Regarding the McDonalds toys. A friend of mine donated a large collection of hers to a local library that had a rewards for reading program. Kid gets to pick a reward from a large bin of McDonalds toys. The library was very grateful.
As an older person I say this unit belonged to an older person who loved to collect. More smalls than I'm comfortable with in my house, but a good unit to profit from. Quilts and aftgans never go out of style.
On the stuffed animals, the ones you donate, check with your local police department to see if they use them. Police departments have been known to give stuffed animals to kids who have been involved in violate crimes, etc.
Thanks, Taco, always fun to come along on any adventure you take us on. Love all your videos. My best always to you and Salsa. Stay happy, healthy and safe. ❤
Quilt in chest was hand made. Soak crusty food off with layer of baking soda and water paste. I use it on pans that have stuff stuck on them and leave it overnight in my oven. Works like a charm
I am 71 and have that stamp book too! I still mess around with stamps but have not bought any in years. Department stores used to sell stamps! Mine mostly come from the bins. I have found compkete first daybof issue stamps for pennies.
Interesting. There were nicely packed and protected pieces that will surely sell quickly at the flea market. Thanks for showing us your storage unit findings. 😍👍
The retro 1990 Grimace was originally a toy from 1990. Mc Donalds isn't going to track down millions of toys from 90's to put in a Happy Meal. Pretty cool, you should at least get 1.00 each. You would around here, anyway. Lots of times I see you pass up things on the curb or donate your storage finds that would sell here. I trust you know your clientele, not doubting you. I'm thinking you must live in a more economically repressed area, or rural.
Always enjoy your storage locker videos. But Taco Stacks you are looking like you have really lost some weight..you look so thin. I know you're a slender guy, but please eat better/more. Worried bout you being so thin. Leave stress behind & take a well deserved vacation where you don't stress over making videos every day. We care about you & will be here when you return. ❤😢❤
I know you donate things which is great. It kills me with all the people telling you to donate things you could make money on. I guess they don't realize that this is how you pay your bills and buy food.☺
You have a red and white afghan that you just called a blanket and wondered if it would sell. It will sell. Check with your mother and learn how to tell crochet from knitting. That looks like a nice afghan.
I still like Longaberger baskets! I found one today at a yard sale! Looks like you found lots of good flea market items! Hope you found a couple ts you liked well enough to keep!
You can sell all of that stuff taco . I buy alot of winter stuff in summer . So don't worry about things being for summer or winter :) good luck on the unit .
I used to live by the longaberger basket in Newark Ohio and drove by it everyday to and from my way home. I used to have some of them but gave them all away
I've been buying and selling stamps for over 40 years. That album is a basic beginner that came with a packet of 500 used world wide stamps. Most if not all the stamps will have a value of $0.01 to $0.05 each.
So right there is $5 to $25 even with a basic starter kit. PS I know the tricky part is selling them for that. I think I'd put it at the flea market with a sign saying...Start a new hobby for only $10. Some kid might see it and have to have it. I had a similar set when I was a kid.
Hi Taco. Well done not a bad unit. You’ve got some nice crochet blankets and they do sell . If you put them for even $5 then you should get half your money back . And winter will be here before you know it the coats and jackets should sell . Take care. PEACE. ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️🥰🥰🥰🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🦮🥰🥰🥰💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Maybe an older person that ate smaller meals, so got kids happy meals. ? The heart thing is cute! Did grandma wear those glittery shoes? Lol. The clown is to learn to button, zip etc. Could be a latch hook rug.
Seems like the blankets and winter stuff, maybe save in set aside boxes for the last 3 or 4 flea markets of the season. People are going to want and need all that cold weather stuff. Just 3 months of holding on to it. Maybe list all the unopened McDonalds toys into a large Ebay lot. I dig these storage unit videos Thanks for making them Taco!
Take the mcD toys to your local legion unit and they will include the care boxes for GIs serving over seas to give out to kids. Sometimes those kids have ever seen a toy. Make everyone happy.
Take the teddy bears to your law enforcement center. The police will carry one in their squad cars to give to comfort a child at accident sites. Great score❤
Not sure how I can cram an entire storage unit into 20-30 minutes of footage. I made longer ones and have done multiple videos on single storage units before and both of them have flopped. With the amount of money and time invested into creating content I can no longer afford to let videos perform at that level. So please give me an honest way to show more without doing the later. Thanks
Taco, check into Operation Christmas Child. Samaritans Purse can use McDonald toys as fillers for shoeboxes. It's a great mission, local churches should be able to help!! Thank you
I wonder if you could donate the McDonalds toys, as long as they are in the bags to the police or fire departments. Sometimes they give toys or stuffed animals to children if they have to go on a run where kids are involved to keep their minds off what is happening. Also donating them to a children’s hospital could be an idea, again as long they are in the bags.
I don't think McDonald's toys are collectible. They made waaaaay too many and people saved them. They'd go down a treat to anyone who stuffs multiple Operation Christmas Child boxes every year. Those boxes are shipped globally to kids who may or may not know what Christmas is. They're in refugee camps or just poor locations. The kids may not get another toy other than what's in the box. When my church held packing parties pre-Pandemic, I used to buy scads at tag sales and donate them. Mardi Gras beads too.
😁Oh crap, what a great locker👍❣Your gonna make your $ back. 🧐 Now the hard work starts looking up the value of many/all items you found🤩 Thank you Taco for taking me/us along with you
Hi Taco Stack's. What a Unit. For $50 dollars is not bad at all. Those McDonald's toys can be rare and the Stamps are a collectors dream. I can say the stamps did give you your money back. But I wouldn't sell them until you get them appraised first. I can say you and Renee did a great job with your Unit's. I can't say enough, but Taco Stack's, you do the most amazing things and find great stuff in the trash. Your cooking video's are my favorite as well. God Bless you Taco Stack's for all you do for other's. HUGS 🤗❤️ and Peace ✌️. Mari'a. 💙🤗🤗🤗🤗💙💙💙✌️✌️✌️👍👍👍👍🥵☕⛈️⛈️⛈️
Some of the McDonald's toys may be worth some money if they aren't opened. Opening them will make the value to down. Lot's to go through but I'm sure it will be fun. Thanks for the video and belly rubs for Salsa!🌝✌🐕
Great unit...you'll make your money back, plus some...i just gave away 3 big boxes of hard back quilting books and about 200 hundred paper backs...as I'm not into hand quilting because of arthritis in my hands...but they had to go... Enjoyed the fun of looking with you and the conversation...see you next time...🥰🥰
You really need to check e-bay sold items for those McDonalds toys before dismissing them as throw away toys. Some may surprise you. Also don't under estimate those quilts and and other blankets. I feel you can make $100's if you take the time to research things. Watching your flee market videos you seem to have a steady stream of customers which would be expected when they know you give things away.
August 2024. That looks like stuff an 85 year old would have. I'll be 75 soon and my mom and mother in law loved tchotchkes. Lots of sellable brand new merchandise. Tina, Al's wife
Winter items always sell well on eBay, because someone is cold somewhere. As long as they are good brand names and practically new with tags, they sell.
So pleased you are home and recovering well. 😊 There's nothing better than your own bed and surroundings when unwell. I hope you have someone looking out for you over the next few days at least. Get well soon,💐
Taco you hit a good one. You’re going to get your money back for sure. Quilts are very expensive. The toys you could sell for $1.00 or 50 cents each. Congrats on a good find. Blessings always to you and Salsa! 😊❤️✝️
My brother has our dads stamp collection and we're always hearing there is no value in stamp collecting and yet, you seemed a bit excited about the collection album that you found. Do you have connections with someone or know someone who is interested in stamps? I'm sure my brother would loke to know if there is any real value to the stamps he has. My dad probably started collecting in the early 60's or even before and may have stamps from many years prior that his father or mother would have held on to. Thanks for any insight or info you can provide.
What a unit! So much stuff and so much work! Some awesome finds...Lane chest should sell, too.😊 time for a break, except it has to go into your storage areas Stay hydrated. Thanks for the adventure!
The quilts look handmade and you should be able to sell them for good money. The angel looks as though it were hand crocheted and some of the blankets appear to be crocheted by hand also.
Hi Taco. Nice eye on the locker. McDonalds toys can be valuable depending on the toy . The locker had a really random stuff in it. Hugs for Salsa. Love ya.
