I Bought An Evo II Kit For My Mercedes 190E

After 1 1/2 years of not having a car I finally bought one!
I decided to go with a 1992 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.3 SportLine to make a 190 Evo II Cosworth replica as I think it’s the coolest car I can build for my budget of $20,000.
The goal is to finish the car before May 4th so I can take it across Canada for Driven Show interviewing car enthusiasts & showcasing their builds along the way.

You do not need tubs in the front last owner in my car had cut the fenders for the tires to turn no scrubbing… The fender was cut to the body line. 07:50 the padding is called sacco plates and was receded with the face lift in 1989

I'm loving the passion. I'm no expert but I think you're much better off keeping your post facelift model. Only thing I would advise is trying to find a 2.6 The 2.3 is nice, but the 2.6 has better mid to top end. Don't quote me but I think there's also little things like better brakes, suspension,

2,6 is nice indeed but only with a manual gearbox over here in Belgium i have bin working on Mercedes for almost 40years now ..the w201 model is very trustworthy

I had a 2.3 it was painfully slow. And the 190e 4 cylinder is worse.

the 2,3 was also a 4 cylinder so i dont get your point Bro 🤔There were only 4 cylinders and line 6 in the w201 serie and a 4 and 5 cylinder diesel engine

Well if you get lucky. I've been eyeing 190Es for sale in Finland for a couple of years now and for a 2.3 with 185k and (potentially) little rust, this could easily be 3000€

Paint your car in PEARL WHITE color . Or an AMG SPORTS LINE WRAP . Then you need to put a proper wheels & quad exhaust style .
