Great looking FJ. Except for the land Rover style grill and lights. Love the color. I have a 2009 FJ sandstorm 210000 miles(338000 kilometers) and runs still runs great.
Hahaha I just changed it all back to stock lights this past week, I hated those Land Rover style ones haha. Just installed a lift kit tonight too, so definitely check out the next videos 😀
I like how you are going back to factory grill I am not a fan of than chinsy design either i will say i am not a fan of the white roofs on these either or the silver plasticy bits, can i suggest colour coding the roof and blacking out the plastics to make it look the the trd special , these cars excel because of the wheel base and weight , try to keep that down as much as possible , if u dont absolutly need a front bar they only add weight and interfere with airbag timing and handling, I have removed my back seats and run full length 1450 mm draws and can extent the platform with the front seat or seats for a double bed moved forward. rtts suck balls I would have already rolled mine if i had one, get adjustable shocks to help on road manners if only at the front run them tightest setting at the front only and when off road turn them down to soft.. have fun
Thanks mate, yes these grills and lights look horrible. I will definitely have to check out some pics of the trd special now, and was thinking of going a no loop bar for the front, or the winch mount behind the factory bumper. 😊
@@WheelsandDonuts i have added a gull wing window to mine with a shelf behind it for more space ive mounted a shower head to to window .only one company in the world that makes them as far as i know.
I have a 07 black 4x4. Bought it at 30k miles for 17k, an older couple bought it new for a fun car and just ran errands and kept in a garage. Not a spec of rust never touched dirt it’s like a new car🤟
Hahah I have reverted to the stock front end, because I didn’t like the lights that came on the car. Have already gone bigger wheels and lift kit now too 😊
