conngrats. one recommendation. Next time you have to splice a bunch of wires like that in a harness stagger the spices so you don't get a fat ball of couplings. If you make the wires different lengths the couplings will be in different places and the final harnes will be slimmer like factory👍
Man, I was waiting for this video. I'm glad we got to see, the finish. That looks amazing. I know How it is when you're by yourself. Thank you brother Thank you, brother.🎉
Had no idea that an Audi could sound like that nice! First video, have no idea how I ran into you, instant sub, very easy listening and no profanity, and other than the cars, I have no idea how to fix it. I think they are hot as coals! Watching your next video and the wagon audi is total fire! 🔥 I would put my daily in the garage to drive this beauty. I definitely do like the 4 door S something car of your other video.
I’m rebuilding a grey B8.5 S4 rn myself. I’m in Massachusetts and it’s crazy hearing you say you can now daily your S4😂 Getting a rebuilt title in Mass is such a headache and of course you can’t drive it before you have that. Been waiting almost 3 months now and my inspection is next Tuesday…..wish me luck😭
In my case this s4 somehow never got a salvage title, so luckily I didn’t have to deal with that. I definitely wouldn’t have passed the rebuild inspection here without those airbags and seatbelts fixed, dents and misalignment they don’t care about. I’ve been there though, good luck!
the hood not lining up is likely due to the metal part that the hood hinge sits on being damaged and sitting lower from the accident, the hinge pushed it down when the hood got damaged. You’d need one of those wishbone pullers to screw into it and pull it out, any way to fix that is either replacing it or some washers. Bleeding coolant you need a pump to pull vacuum or do the bleeder screws in sc and heat exchanger and there’s also another hose that goes into the firewall that has a hole in it designed like that from factory, pull that out so the hole lets out air, don’t need to pull out all the way
Thanks! Still lots to do to fully finish it up but at least I can enjoy it! You’re welcome to shoot me a message if you want to come take a look at it before it’s at 100%
Very nice work. I have a question, please. My car’s headlights don’t work. Nothing works in it. I tested the lights from the battery and it works. But when I reinstall it in the car, it doesn’t work. What is wrong my car 2007 vw touareg V6
To an extent I agree that the fees are frustrating, but keep in mind that Copart doesn’t pocket the money from the bid. They’re not the actual seller of the car, insurance is, Copart simply provides a platform and acts as a broker. With that in mind consider their expenses: a lot of real estate, equipment, wages for the various employees (customer service, IT people for the website and app, call centers, forklift operators, people who take the pictures and receive the cars, etc etc) They have a lot of expenses and after all this is a business which was created with the purpose of making money, and that’s what they’re doing for which I personally, can’t blame them.
Plus the $4200 I paid for the car with all the fees is still a good deal in my opinion. Everyone, including myself, posts the bid amount simply because it’s a better clickbait
I just had to program in the end stops: car in drive & steering wheel straight, turn left all the way and hold until the beep, turn right all the way till the beep, done. No programming was needed
There’s a lot that goes into s4 swapping an a4. It would be a much more involved process, which isn’t really worth it considering that the a4 has a rebuilt and flood title, on top of “not actual mileage”. There’s wiring that would need to be changed, differentials, brakes, suspension, basically all control modules, etc etc
100% agreed, sketchy is the best I’ve got at the moment, because I am the one paying for the shop (not really sure what you were getting at there). Thing is that I’m willing to look past sketchy things like wrong color panels and some panel gaps considering that this allows me to enjoy a $20k car for $8000 (cost of parts car included). Plus like I mentioned in this video as well as previous ones, I do plan to fully finish it eventually, the main thing was getting it to a drivable condition.
Looks like only blind people watching your videos .......bro you spend 3000$ to buy that crap now you add 2 months of work (not even close to finish ) and you have a car that is still not road worthy stay away from bumbs and holes and when you finish it ...if you do what's next ? Keep it forever or scam someone and sell it 😉
