I own this box. I have 2 cats, so it doesn't last the 1 month, it claims. I change the entire box every 2 weeks, usually and just the litter every week. I'm disabled, so even having to change it as much as I have too it's worth it for me not to have to scoop constantly.
We have had this litter box for about a month now like everything about it except the oder I thought the whole point of it was no scooping but in order to keep the smell down after he poops you pretty much have to scoop the tray every time he poops it is not low maintenance
where the feces and clumped liquid go? If a reusable bin is used, is it possible to consider putting a bag in it to more easily dispose of the excrement pushed out by the automatic cleaning?
Hey, would you be able to comment on litter oder of this vs the litter robot vs pretty litter? I currently use the catit covered litter box with pretty litter and pretty much have zero odor. I would like to move to an automatic litter box, but odor is my largest concern.
Help please someone! I have an older pet safe scoop Free box. My husband usually changes the box but he’s away on job. Now I’ve changed the litter but can’t get the gray litter cover back on. I have that and the beige-white plastic strip with the magnets on it off the box. SOS please someone help!!!
I have a 4 mos old kitten that really makes a mess with this litter box!!! The box does pretty good with controlling urine smells . But There is no odor control for poop apparently !!! Pushing it under the “trap” doesn’t keeping it from stinking even with brand new litter in it . He digs to the bottom to poop and then does no covering up , you can not imagine the messes I have had to clean up . I am fixing to try the litter robot !!!
I do NOT recommend any of these petsafe litter boxes. The space where the waste is pushed is not air tight and it doesn't trap any smell. It's like having the poo right there because there is a 3mm gap around the front cover. It smells and it smells bad! I have to clean the poo every day.
