The BNC "keychains" look like the old BNC network terminators once used on PC's. Rather than being completely useless you should find that if yo put the on a multi meter they should have a resistance of around 50 ohms and a power handling suitable for QRP radios.

Thanks for the tip! I will grab my meter and see what the resistance value is, would be quite handy for testing QRP radios for sure. Thanks for watching! 73 -Kevin

The TYT UV88 is a very nice and capable HT. I have one and its definitely an upgrade to the Baofeng UV5R

The bncs I use them for dust covers for my portable radios. Great for keeping dirt out of the antenna connector. If it is a dummy load it's even better to protect your qrp radio.

They are terminators. We used them for 10BASE-2 networks. I think token ring networks might have used them too.

I think they're caps for BNC to keep dust out of your Connector

Thanks! I couldn't figure out what they we're I thought maybe caps, or maybe dummy loads, but they were just floating in the box. Thanks for watching. 73 -Kevin

are the BNC plug blanking plugs for BNC sockets or handy talks with a bnc antenna

It seems like they are terminating ends for BNC jacks, I haven't tested the impednace yet but they could possibly be a basic dummy load for an HT if they are 50 ohm. THanks for watching! 73 -Kevin

The keychains are likely BNC 50 or 75 ohm terminators. You are brave getting these boxes but sometimes they hook you up. Maybe from a radio joint like with the Yaesu guys or Icom but I've never heard of Main Trading. Thanks for the video tho. Great for testing out the new microphone. It performed well might add.

Thanks for watching. They guaranteed there would be a radio in the box, and there was, I was hoping I might get lucky and there would be a better radio, but this one isn't terrible to be honest, for only being $30. I like the gamble of hoping there will be something good in the box lol, maybe next time. 73! -Kevin

That's what I'm leaning towards now with the replies I'm getting, still have no use for them and still going to turn them into Keychains to put on my radio gear lol. Thanks for watching! 73 -Kevin

the BNC keychains are terminators, they should have a 50 or 75 written on the top of the cap, you can use them to test your coax with a antenna analyzer or VNA but dont try to put any real power into them.

But what was the dollar value of the fun you had going through all that stuff?

Use a meter on the BNC terminators to determing if they are 50 or 75 ohms. Useful as a dummy load for analyzers etc.

I think I got similar stuff in my box. Probably not a great buy but I guess it's why they call it a mystery box. I think I shouldn't have bought it but too late now. lol

Yeah i've bought several mystery boxes from the radio retailers over the years but always seem disappointed, but I like to think I'll get lucky some day lol. Thanks for watching! 73 -Kevin
