In my opinion buying land in an undeveloped area in anticipation of future development is a very smart move...well done Janice...I can't wait to see how you develop this land 🙂
I completely agree! It’s a beautiful town as well... I knew the moment I stepped foot on the land that it was going to be home. I love your channel btw 😊
That’s definitely massive land. Woow! Know a family that recently discovered their land has gold deposits. Millionaires overnight. You’re making moves 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
*AWESOME VIDEO, SIS!!!* I'm an African-American man planning to relocate to Ghana in the future. This video is extremely helpful for me. However, can you make video outlining the *exact steps* you made to identify and lawfully purchase this Ghanaian land? It would be very informative for the rest of us African Diasporans looking to return home. Thanks!
Make sure the land you are buying has not been sold to others. Check with the land commission in Kumasi. When you know for sure that it's legit and the land is yours, first thing you should do wall your land so that there is no encroachment by others. Good luck.
Beautiful landscape smart choice sister, coz kumasi is more peaceful than Accra about acquiring land, please next time snickers will be easy and safe to walk in the Bush
Hi Edgar, I purchased the land directly from the king and I took the paper work to the lands commission. My cousin works with the lands commission as well.
Yes! I checked with the lands commission, it’s all mine. When you buy land in Ghana you shouldn’t let it sit too long or the king can resell it. If you’re not ready to build you can build a wall around the land to secure it till you’re ready to build.
@@janicejennifer9861 Okay, you had someone on the inside negotiating for you. $4,000.00 for a plot of land ,that appears to be that fertile is tantamount to a no brainer. However, other You Tubers have warned people to be very cautious buying land in Ghana... I'll watch how you and your family progress...peace
Tredde is a beautiful Town. The king is young and seems to be taking good care of the town. It’s clean and the people are very warm. I think you should visit since you’re from there, you may even get a hefty discount because you have relatives their. There’s really no one price but generally speaking a plot of land depending on the location, if it’s a new site, it may be within the range of $4,000 per plot more or less.
A friend of mine had a misunderstanding with other friend and that brought fight between them, so when we came to work in the morning the security tell us the event, and how his face was redesigned, but one funny thing to me was how he called me John, but the fight was just two minutes and he was wounded 🤕 but I can't laugh too.. Later I say to myself, if it was up to five minutes what would have happen to my dear. Lol 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
Like every where in the world it’s all about location. I lucked out because my brother knows the king. The town I purchased the land is in process of building a huge government hospital which will bring a lot of traffic. This will help develop the location very very quickly. It will also be great for a business investment. Generally speaking an undeveloped land in Kumasi can run you about $4000 per plot. depending on the location it can be more or less. These prices go up annually so if your thinking of buying, I would say buy now and build later.
Hi dear, if you are an Afro American, lands are free in Ghana. You need not buy them. This is entrenched in our constitution to enable people to come back home. Please check this before you make anymore purchases.
How can we find out more information about African Americans buying land in Ghana. I want to to purchase a plot of land. Can you please email me? akobenagreenlee@gmail.com
@@akobenagreenlee Advicable to visit the country just for some few weeks. You will meet a lot of African Americans who have resettled. Better still make friends with the people more. You will get more information. The best option is buy the land and start something and not just buy the land and leave it idle
Is this what we call development? no mercy for the environment, digging around, building homes with no proper roads leading to it contributing to heavy erosion of the land. Ghanaians never cease to amaze me. Too selfish to have a develop country
Yes our “ leaders” are a huge part of the issue. I think we in the diaspora both Africans and American blacks need to come back to the continent and help to build it up. So many Ghanians want to leave the country for “ greener pastures” if we all leave how can we complain about the development of Ghana? It’s up to all of us to make it better. We have to see the value of our country because others are investing heavily in Africa because they see the value
@@janicejennifer9861 thanks for taking the leap. My brother left this morning from Canada and should be there early morning tomorrow. One small piece of correction, the diaspora is not just black Americans 🙂 but Indo understand that's who we mostly see. There are more diaspora in Ghana who are not from mainland America. I got some land in Central region earlier this year. Goodluck on your journeys and relocation. I have another 2 years. Blessings
