The Gohan is based off a 3rd party figure. Don’t remember the company, but it’s not completely random. This KO actually seems pretty good. You got a good deal with it.
With these kinda figures, gotta make note of which is going to be bootleg/KOs or 3rd party. The 3rd party tends to be actual quality, like with the mystic Gohan, especially when it comes to Transformers where there's a market for it for large scale figures or upgrade kits for regular release figures.
I’m still kinda new and this was my first run in with the bootleg/3rd party. I hadn’t heard of the New Hope the mystic Gohan was but know of demonical fit and kong. Think that was the only actual 3rd party though but not sure?
Yeah some 3rd party Transformers are better than what Hasbro/Takara does. I wouldnt say 3rd party Dragonball are so much better(not bad), but theyll make certain figures that figuarts havent.

FYI Kai Gohan was by a company called Demonical fit, their not "Knock offs" more or less originals based on official molds sometimes improved. they made a version 3 base Goku thats the best goku out there now.
by the way, the kai uniform gohan was made by black hole toys, it was probably made before they took a step up with their quality, since its unable to be found now, except on temu i guess 💀

the bootleg awakening goku is one of the two that are actually decent quality bootlegs according to big deano reviews, if the faces were a bit better i'd honestly get it because i do like it a lot. although the kai gohan's thumb is for when him and goku give each other a thumbs up before he goes to fight buu rather than the usual thumb pose

i bought one my self a guyver S.H.F from temu, my hopes are low but im a sucker for guyver and temu has not failed me yet on figures in terms of quality
I picked up a couple figures off temu, a vegito, a ssj goku and a Shenron, whilst the latter two were smaller than I'd expected, the vegito was about 12" tall and all 3 are pretty good quality, all 3 are also without any points of articulation, overall I was pretty happy and paid less than 15 quid for the 3 of them combined

everybody saying gohan isn’t demoniacal fit, but the head sculpt is didn’t really hear about it but new hope could be black hole toys, which is actually a branch of demoniacal that separated from them

Those figures look like you can smell the factory chemicals coming off of them. My guy put gloves on when handling those odd colored figures LOL. Good video guy, I will not be buying figures from Temu. That Gohan arm break tho 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I get a lot from retail stores like Walmart, target, Barnes and noble, but the ones I can’t get from stores I typically buy from eBay or Amazon. In my latest video I’ve been buying straight from Japan lately off Meccha-Japan and have $5 off code. Been buying straight from Japan for some lately since new releases always come out their a few months before the US
The Kai Gohan figure body sculpt looks pretty good to me ngl but the faces look terrible you can probably replace the head and hands to make it look 10x better
His content is super fun and I'm loving following it, but as someone who lives in a country where the dollar is worth 5x our money, it makes my heart ache to see it-
It looks like they made a mold using a legit Event Exclusive SS Goku, given the KO looks a bit bulkier. The box art is straight up ripped off the legit one (minus all the logos), except it's missing the sleeve and the 15th Anniversary stand that it comes with. All the faces are the same, but the detail is super crappy and lacking. The hair in the original is transparent. The Ki effect is straight up the same. It even has the same ripples (I compared them with mine). But just like the figure, it looks thicker, as if they used the real one to make a mold. Overall, pretty impressive. $30 for all that, if you don't mind the crappy finish is a good deal if you're not committed to the hobby enough to spend $200. If you swap a face from a legit SS Goku (Like the Full Power one), you got yourself a good KO. Though you have to do modifications, as like in the legit ones, they might have different pegs.
Pretty sure that Kai outfit Gohan’s extra head is his Beast form that he achieved in DBS Superhero, not Ultra Instinct. They just didn’t make his hair long
Okay but there can be some acutal good ones on there. I got a black frieza and ssj4 gogeta off of there, and their actually really well painted and decent quality, you just gotta look for the good ones.
I have that z sword gohan but if you put one of the super hero gohan heads on it it makes it look so much better. The head that comes on it is so tiny.
